Poor service and communication.

The delivery and installation was supposed to happen on 11/18 between 11:15 to 2:15. I called around 3pm to find out when they would come, they implied it would come later ( no specific time ). I called again around 6pm, they said it wouldn’t come tomorrow ( no specific time, they said someone would call). I called Wed. Morning 11/19, they explained the TV was not available and it wouldn’t arrive until Fri. 11/21 ( no serials exactly when it would arrived or delivered). I cancelled the order. I made a 2nd order that day for 3 TVs ( 2x85” and a 98” ), picked up that day 11/19, and installed them myself on 11/20 an 11/21.

We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing terrible picture quality and slow performance on your K-85XR50 television, especially when trying to watch fast-paced content like football. That is certainly not the premium, smooth viewing experience we intend for our BRAVIA XR models.
We understand how frustrating this must be, and we believe we can help improve this performance significantly, as the K-85XR50 is designed specifically for smooth motion. The issues you describe are often related to a few settings that can cause motion blur or judder.
To help you resolve this and enjoy the crisp, clear motion you paid for, we highly recommend adjusting the Motionflow setting. Please try the following:
Go to Settings → Display & Sound → Picture → Motion → Motionflow.
Set Motionflow to Custom, and then set the Smoothness slider to a higher value (such as 3 or 4) to reduce blurring in fast-moving scenes.
If adjusting the motion settings does not resolve the issue, please contact our support team directly at https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US&category=tv so our specialists can guide you through optimizing your specific settings and ensuring the processor is running efficiently.

Great 85" TV!

Crystal clear images. Ideal to watch at any light situation, and from any angle. Hooked it up to my Klipsch sound system via optical, works well.
