Let me start by first listing off some of the best parts of this TV: 4k with Dolby Vision(as well as HDR10), IPS display that can get SUPER bright, and Wide Color Gamut that gives you beautiful colors. And not to mention the size of the thing! When I came in to Best Buy to purchase, I was actually looking at the entry level QLED, the Samsung Q6. Well when I compared it to this baby, the picture on the Samsung looked all washed out and didn't reach the level of the Sony. Plus this one is an 85 compared to the 82. Overall I am very satisfied. I watch a variety of entertainment ranging from anime to box office hits and they all look stupendous on this TV. For anyone looking at an 80+ inch thia ia definitely the best value out there. Highly reccomended.

The picture quality is fantastic. The setup was a breeze. The Android menu integration is seamless. This was purchased for my parents . They can get on Netflix and AmazonPrime in one click. I just can’t understand spending anymore money, because the “official” review guys say the image quality is that incredibly better. Perhaps side by side in store their may be a difference. However, in their house this beast simply looks incredible. I trust the Sony name in TVs and am not disappointed in the least bit.

Gave me problems from the moment I bought it it would turn off by itself when I would play my ps5 in the middle of a game it would just turn off. Or watching an action filled movie. I never really called geek squad and I bought a 5 year protection plan, but today my tv finally gave out it didn’t turn back on. So I’m going to call them to have it fixed good thing it’s still under the 5 year warranty I bought.

Impressive size of the screen and extremely simple to operate; unexcelled brilliance and vivid colors

We have satellite service and the picture quality is amazing! The large screan has no distortions what so ever. You can stand right in front of it, and clear as can be. Totally Love it. Easy to set up. Color was perfect right out of the box Blue ray disc are truly outstanding on this tv. It has 4 k capability, and that will be next to get a player. Can't even imagine it being better viewing than the blue ray.

We bought this to replace a 75" Sharp TV, which was about 5 years old. The improvement in technology is easily noticeable. The picture, out of the box, is crisp and sharp, and the color very life-like. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of 4K offerings widely available, but when we are treated to a 4K show, WOW......We patiently waited to purchase this TV, and am so glad we finally took the plunge.

Been waiting 2 years to upgrade from a 70 inch Aquos. And I'm glad I waited because I saved over $2k since the price drop and a better quality TV with the 8k upconvert ability. If you want a top of the line tv that is huge and not $5k this is the deal for you.

Delivery was spot on. I asked them to unpack it to see if there was any transport damage before they left, and they complied. I had watched Sony videos on how to unpack it. They did it correctly. The $99 set up includes attaching legs only. Not worth it for me. I put the wall rack on myself. Needed two people, preferably three, to set TV on the wall. Picture quality is dependent on bandwidth, which fluctuates a little (Internet service issue). Turned it on, connected router with ethernet cable, and set up my apps (Kinetic TV, Netflicks, etc.), So far, no problems, even with the remote. Room is 19' by 15'. No complaints with product or service. Plan to add a sound bar, but not necessary if theater atmosphere is not your goal. My dog even watches the TV, particularly if there is a dog or a fisticuff on the screen.

I bought this TV about a 1.5 years ago for a client install & I was so impressed by the build quality & picture quality that I purchased one for myself. I could not pass up this deal especially since it was on sale for about half what I paid for the first one. If you are looking to impress or just update your viewing room then look no further.

I have created a small theater in my house and this fabulous TV has exceeded all my expectations. I think the price I paid is well below the quality offered by this TV. Everyone, friends and family are amazed and even my sister and a friend have already bought an equal one. I'm not advising someone to buy, I'm just posting my joy and gratitude

Died at 5 years old I would expect Sony to last longer than 5 years

The picture is awesome. I would highly recommend this sony tv if you love to watch tv or movies. It has great motion picture. The color is so vivid. We got the sound bar to go with the tv and it was well worth it all, so I cannot say what the sound is like with the regular tv. Worth the money!

The picture is awesome. The color is vibrant. The sound is amazing. The clarity is fantastic. Now watching my other televisions sucks.i don’t need my glasses to watch television anymore. This is the best television I have ever seen. I am going to watch the big game on my new huge 85 inch screen.

We've had this TV for three weeks and, for the most part, it has been great. Good picture and I love the functionality/operating system on it. My only complaint is about once a week the WiFi connectivity just stops working. The only fix is physically unplugging the TV to do a full restart. Not a huge deal but kind of a pain to slide the entertainment center out for the sake of unplugging. In this day and age I thought they may have had WiFi figured out. I've read other reviews with similar complaints so I know this is not unique to my TV.

This was a great investment for our home, since we truly enjoy watching movies and shows. The screen and picture quality is good for the price. I can see a little white led's bleeding through, but the color quality is great. The set up and the app's were really easy and quick.

This TV is a great value for money spent. It mounted on my wall very easily. Only took two of us to put it up. Set up the sound system was very easy. With the ARC wiring I have no wires showing except one and you can only see about an inch of the wire because I added a nice table ordered from Best Buy also to hold my other components which sits nicely under the TV. This TV has Great color, good blacks even though some reviews say otherwise. I also like the Voice Command remote. Added to my 7.2 Dolby Digital, ATMOS sound system, this is like sitting in a theater without all the distractions. The only problem I have is that the Movies Anywhere and UTube or any of the apps used from the TV do not work through my ARC wiring. Tried optical and it also doesn't work. Apps I lonely get sound through the TV itself. But overall exceedingly happy with this purchase.

Very pleased with the 850G. we had considered other brands but found ourselves back to Sony. The picture quality is brilliant and the ease of set up was excellent. Glad we stayed with our Gut feeling and different switch brands. Love It!!!!!!

Purchased this TV and have been blown away by the picture it provides. Stunning visuals and a great size television, very pleased with it overall. It is very heavy and awkwardly sized so plan your installation well.

Color is vibrant and creates a theatre feel inside of my home. 85 inch is large, but it worked perfect with my existing wall-mount system. I haven't had any issues with it since purchasing it.

It's been almost a week of owning this giant TV and nothing to complain about so far. You don't realize the size until it shows up to your house. The quality is very good and can't beat the price of just under 2k.
