First one failed, second is fine

Purchased the tv for super bowl Sunday. Got it the day before, set it up and mounted on the wall. Super Bowl party was a success. Turned the tv on the following day (Monday) and found that two lines of pixels had died. Went to the Sony website to trouble shoot. Did all the things and still dead pixels. I unmounted, placed in box and returned to BB for a new one. New one works fine. I’ve been a Samsung tv guy for the last decade plus so getting a bad Sony tv was not a great intro to Sony tvs.

Thing is huge lol. But it’s just what we needed for our huge wall. The tv has a great picture really smooth during action scenes and has vibrant vibrant colors Love this tv Sony dose it again

At times the sound goes out and when turning on sometimes you can hear the channel but the tv screen is fuzzy. Maybe I just got a bad one

To resolve these issues, please make sure that the firmware is up to date. If the sound issue only occur when watching OTA channels, try to re-scan the channels and test it again. Also, check the sound from a different input/source to further isolate the issue. If other sources are also affected, please perform a power reset.
  
  Turn off the TV.
  Unplug the television power cord (mains lead) from the electrical outlet.
  Let the television remain without power for 2 minutes.
  Plug the power cord (mains lead) back into the electrical outlet.
  
  If this does not resolve the issue, please perform a factory reset.

The picture quality is great but now i have a red line going down the left side of the screen and a white line going across the screen. Only had the TV 14 months and now this problem. I guess the quality with Sony TV's is not their anymore.

Not happy with how it shows…. It’s looked great in Best Buy so i bought 2 of the 85inch Sony Bravia 4k TVs and paid $600 to have them professionally mounted yesterday and totally disappointed with how the picture looks

Flickering lines, white ghost smudges, NOPE

Very exited to use this TV but as soon I turn it on, several white ghost smudges appeared, connected the wifi and updated the TV, playing Netflix on its internal OS is very bad, the only app that ran smooth videos was Youtube, and about 15min of testing it, the display started to flicker one complete line, like a dirty digital signal it happened on youtube, main menus, netflix, so I decided to return it... Maybe I got a bad one, but I end up buying a 4K laser projector instead.
