Great camera, simple to use and amazing quality, love the small design too

Other cameras have since made advances to catch up and sometimes surpass the Sony a6000, but this camera remains a great value for the quality and features it delivers. It is compact and its sensor is still top notch in this price range. Sony’s menu system really is a pain, but this camera otherwise makes shooting great photos easy.

This is my first mirrorless camera. I am very glad that I purchased a Sony. This camera is very easy to use. The menu functions are great!

Great camera! We got this camera as an open box item and it was in perfect condition. This is our first fancier camera and it’s been awesome. It is very user friendly and has tons of accessories available. It’s great out of the box and the quality of photos are unbelievable.

I'm no professional photographer but this camera certainly helps bring the best pics out. I've been looking to go DSLR for a while but the size puts me off. I like this camera coz not only does it have almost all that a DSLR has to offer but in a compact size. Also pictures with auto settings come out great too! Will update more as I use it more but so far enjoying it!

Previously had a Nikon 5500. Great camera but I travel and wanted a smaller camera that still had tons of features and lens interchangeability. Mirrorless cameras are the way to go, in my opinion. Very happy with this camera size, quality, and functionality.

This camera provides me excellent quality with every shot. I love the easy autofocus and variety of settings to help me take clear shots.

Have had one, one on one class and am starting to feel more comfortable with the camera. Can't wait for my future one on one classes. The staff where outstanding, both when purchasing and the one on one classes. Very helpful, patient and understanding

Been reading reviews and watching reviews on YouTube. I have a Sony Hx50v and absolutely love it. Don't leave home without it. The A6000 is a joy to use and the pictures that come out of this little mirrorless camera are amazing. If you're thinking about this camera, think no longer. Get it, you won't be disappointed. So small and light, no need for a full frame sensor.

This is a great beginner mirrorless camera. I have since upgraded since I’ve made the transition to video. The man reason for the switch was not the picture quality. If you know these cameras the battery life isn’t the best and it doesn’t have a mic input plug for most shot gun mics. Other then that this is a great beginner camera.

Just bought this camera and I'm very impressed with it so far. I had a Nikon DSLR D3300 before this and I honestly favor the Sony more. At 11fps you can capture anything on the move. The pictures are extremely sharp and detailed and this camera is very user friendly. As a side note: you can also buy a lense adapter to use Nikon and Canon lenses on this as well.

This camera is really great. It not only takes high quality photos but it captures high quality video as well. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This camera is easy use and takes nice video. The only thing is that after about 10 minutes of recording the battery heats up and the camera shuts down.

I love to travel and take hundreds of pictures of everything from scenery to selfies. With this camera, I was able to do it all with many different settings. This camera was great to carry around anywhere and was the perfect size when traveling compared to other bulkier cameras. It takes excellent photos and I would recommend to anyone.

Took this camera bundle to Ireland and it worked beautifully. The photos, videos and ease of use were perfect. The speed at which it focuses and shoots pics is great for scenery and fast moving objects. We did buy some extra batteries but other than that everything worked great out of the box.

I had previously purchased a Nikon D7000 and it is a fantastic camera but very very heavy to carry during events where movement is constant. I had been hired to photograph a professional baseball promotional event and needed a lightweight DSLR. I'm still learning the basic techniques for DSLR cameras but thus far this camera is so smart. It offers lots of automated features, as well as updates that add to your experience. If you're new to DSLRs, the fact that this camera can set up a temporary WiFi signal to push photos to your Smartphone (after you download the Sony Play Memories Mobile app) is a tremendous timesaver if you want to electronically post your pictures now rather than later to any website.

I have had this camera for almost a month. I am not a professional by no means. I am still learning to use it. I have taken quite a few picture with it but I still haven't seen anything that makes it better than my other cameras. The positive about this camera is the size and the weight it really is a lightweight camera even with the bigger kit lens. I may come back and update my review later on. Like I said I'm not a professional but I did order a book that is supposed to explain all of the cool features this camera has. I am hoping it will help me to get some better shots.
