Wow...great camera for the novice and semi-pro

I needed a "simple" point and shoot camera for my wife to use and the "auto" feature does just that. I wanted something much more in a DSLR. Read all the information for cameras in this price range and you will have to give the Sony a6000 a hard look.

Great compact full function camera

Perfect for my needs

Not quite as good of image quality as my d7200 but I will trade that for the size and portability of this camera. Takes amazing pictures with the 35mm prime lens and is perfect for my needs of chasing a 3 year old around and being able to hold it in one hand. Very impressed with the view finder too.

Great camera for action photos!

The camera is also compact and light making it easy to transport and handle while taking photos.
