I recently bought this camera to take with me to Nicaragua. The picture quality is out of this world.
I have owned different DSLRs in the past, by far this one is simple and small enough to carry everywhere. Picture quality is great. Having both lenses is highly recommended, help me capture quality pictures of Monkey Island.
Overall, I am completely satisfied and would recommend to everyone I know.

Thanks for the great service Best Buy! I purchased the A6000 kit with the 18-50mm power zoom lens and the 55-210mm telephoto lens with bag. I read a lot of reviews and viewed many photo comparisons before purchasing which I would recommend to anyone considering aquiring any camera. I already am familiar with the RX100 and like the Sony menus; though, there are a lot of selections which will challenge the point and shoot oriented photographer, but you can get wonderful results while using the automatic modes and have the capability to explore further options later such as the simple DMF feature. The basic power zoom kit lens gets some critical reviews, although it's perfectly adequate for my purposes - I recommend it and would buy it again. The telephoto lens does not have the power zoom capability, but is very smooth and definitely takes finer quality photos than the basic lens - it's incredibly inexpensive when included in the kit - a no brainer if you can spend the extra money. The basic lens takes 40.5mm filters, and the telephoto 49mm - I purchased UV lens protectors for each. The bag works and nice that it's included in the kit - certainly acceptable quality. There is a reason why this camera and the kit are so popular - value, and anyone considering purchasing can take comfort knowing that there will be so many common accessories and parts available in the future - good luck!

I have had my Sony for a few months now and I am in love with it! It takes amazing high quality photos. I have taken lots of family photos and several sporting events also. It captures sporting event photos flawlessly! I highly recommend this camera to everyone from beginners to professionals. It is simple to operate and with the extra lens options it's very versatile.

I had a Sony hx50v and been very happy with it. Decided to get a better camera so I go for the a6000 with 2 lenses included. I bought Nikon 3100 and 3200 for my 2 kids but the Nikon DSLRs are quite bulky and heavy. I picked Sony a6000 because it's much smaller in size. This Christmas I used it for my trip to Tahoe. Took some amazing pictures. I recommend it.

I needed a camera that offered more quality, flexibility and control than a smartphone or pocket digital. Did a lot of research and this seemed like the best value. Very pleased with the features and ease of use. The package with the two lenses gave me just what I wanted. While not a high-end camera, it seems sturdy enough and provides a high-res output.

The camera takes great pictures! Autofocus wonderful. It is light to carry around and compact. It doesn't get into the way, especially when worn around the neck. The 2 lenses are a good start for beginner user like me. I need to use it more to use most of it's functions/tools.

Bought this camera during the Christmas holiday and used it in a oversea trip. Just love it! It was light and easy to used. The menu is a breeze to navigate and right to the point. It has more features than I know how to use. And above all, the picture quality is just superb. Looking forward to add a few more accessories to it.

The quick response from the camera ensures that you'll get the shot you want even if the camera is turned off. The mirror less body is light weight and compact but will ensure that you will get the quality that rivals any medium format dslr out there. Great camera with great lense options. Perfect for the beginner photographer.

What a fantastic camera. I bought it as a gift for my wife who just doesn't like using a cell phone camera. We have owned the "full size" cameras and this is Sony does not disappoint. A light camera packed full of features. You can definitely tell the difference as the auto mode takes the perfect picture every time.

This camera is the first of few (for now) of cameras this size with this much capability. Its small, compact size makes it great for traveling, carrying it in small bags, or last-minute ventures. I recently bought it and took it with me to New York for eight days, and it did not disappoint once. The clarity in the pictures makes it hard to believe i could afford this camera, or that it isn't a DSLR. It has multiple settings, but the ones I mostly used were shutter, scene selection, and intelligent auto. Another bonus is that it has an interchangeable lens, which is rare for a camera this size, letting you get the most out of it. I bought the bundle, and the zoom lens is extremely helpful. Even though the kit lens has great zoom, it could be improved, so i'm happy i got the bundle. Th only thing I would say needs to be improved is the articulating screen. Sure, it comes out for you to shoot high, or low angles, but its hard to take selfies or do a vlog-type video because it doesn't articulate around to the front, but that is a minor setback I found from using this amazing camera. If you've been staring at this camera or its bundle for a while now, just get it, you wont regret it. But if you feel like you can wait, might as well get the next best thing, but that can be said for most cameras.

I bought the bundle at a really great deal for $699. It's worth every penny! Fast shutter speeds to capture those action moments. It's lighter than carrying those bulky DSLR cameras around that's for sure. It's a great investment for traveling and taking awesome quality pictures. Definitely recommended!

I am starting up a photography business and wanted a camera that could get me started. I wanted to try a mirror-less camera, so when I saw this sale I could not resist. This camera is great, easy to use. I am still adjusting to the lenses, they don't always focus like I want but I'm sure I can play with the settings to get them to work.

Simply put, unless you're OK with losing $3000 for the A7RII (which in of itself was crafted on Mt. Olumpus), it's little cousin the Alpha 6000 is fantastic. 11 FPS capability, gorgeous shots, lots of photo options and filters, this is the camera you want as a replacement to your clunky, 20 pound DSLR.

This camera is one of the best Sony has ever made. To get some of the same specs in a DSLR, you would be spending 3000 dollars. 11 Frames per second, amazingly fast auto focus and 24 megapixels. You will never miss the shot and you will have gorgeous pictures to prove it.

I owned a Nex-5R camera that started giving Camera Errors after 2 years. I bought the a6000 as a replacement. On the newer version I really miss the touch screen capability, other than that all of the features from the NEX-5R have been carried forward. The wifi function could be a lot easier to use but they've made it clunky and hard to use. The camera's picture taking abilities are above par.

4stars because I really love the size, weight and speed. Stunning photo quality with the 16-50 kit lens and also with the 55-210 lens. BUT, I have never gotten so many bad pics in low light or night club type settings. I am a musician and have taken countless photos that were sharp with my former Nikon D80 Dslr. But the Sony A6000 hit rate was horrible in those same domains. I really love the camera otherwise. But I returned it and got a Nikon D5500 w18-140 lens. My hit rate for sharp photos went way up in the same venues where I was getting blurry results with the Sony A6000. I liked the size of the Sony better and will be tempted to try the new A6300 when the price comes down.
