I really like this camera, it boasts Sony quality and does the job if you can live with it's configuration. The camera has to be placed inside the clear plastic housing to be mounted anywhere, which makes it a tad bulky. As far as picture quality, I give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars, sound I give a 3 out of five. If you can purchase this camera for the lowest I've seen of $129.00, you got a steal! At $149.00 it's reasonable...

Likes: Excellent camera picture. Good pictures in all conditions. i.e... bright light, cloudy, . Did not test at dusk conditions. Dislikes: Remote view door to charge broke off in 1 month of charging. (The battery cannot be removed easily for charging.. Must charge through charge port.) If you flip the view on the camera (this flips the view of the camera when the camera is mounted upside-down so that when you view it on the tablet or TV it is right side-up , it doesn't flip the text in the window on the camera (the text is upside-down when the camera is mounted upside-down.. Can't playback stored movie on remote view. Must get tablet and cables and online software to be able to playback recorded movie on tablet or TV.. I was expecting plug and play. Had to get User manual (not supplied with camera or remote view)on-line to find out that I can plug in camera to TV with a cable (not supplied) and play back stored movie.

+great video quality +app gives you a screen to look at +battery charges fast +case works well at protecting can -so small = easy to lose -battery life not great -sound bad with case on If you want a great action cam that is way cheaper than most, buy this one. Haven't tried NFC but WiFi works well. Navigating options a little annoying without app but not difficult.

The sony is a great camera ,picture and sound quality is outstanding, the only complaint I have is the bsttery life, its way to short and the mount has no way to allow for a power cord

I've been happy with the video quality and the ease of use, but given the rounded bottom you really have to use the case if you want to place it on something. Happy with the purchase overall and would recommend.

Takes very clear video and has good sound. Have had it underwater and the case did not leak a drop. However, I wish you could watch the video back from the camera. However, the app for the phone works well.

I purchased this item to go to the Galapagos Islands on vacation. It works amazing. With the waterproof case I was able to snorkel with dolphins and still produce very good video. Above water has the same great effect and high-quality video as well.

I was not impressed with this device. Most of the photos I took under water came out blurry. Above water it was great. On my third snorkel, the waterproof case failed and water got in. The lens fogged up half way through the dive. I returned the camera when I got back home.

Great camera, low weight, high technology. However you probably will miss the lack of screen.

Great camera for use of almost anything. Shoots beautiful underwater pictures. I recommend this product over the GoPro Hero mainly because this product comes with waterproof case and has a much better camera thab GoPro Hero.

My son bought this after I talked him down from the entry level GoPro (with help of the salesman). This is a little more bulky than the GoPro but you can't beat the price and the video quality is excellent.

If you do not want to pay the go pro price this is a great camera to purchase. Camera comes with water prof case to about 60ft. Perfect for snorkeling, pictures come out so clear. I have used this camera for: Zip lining (in the dark, the lights around the venue were enough to capture the moment) Snorkeling Boating Con-no camera light. Con-you can not see the pictures/videos on the camera. Pro-you can get the app on your phone and see everything. Some pictures have come out not in focus. For now I will blame that on being new to this camera.
