Sony is usually really good quality and they most likely have more money invested in their manufacturing. Well we were at least satisfied and we're now using the camera to a lot of actions. Thanks to that representative.

great camera but didn't like shape

However, it's shape (vs a gopro) makes it more difficult to mount at times (especially on chest, backpack, etc.) and more prone to hitting something as you move about. If using without mounts, might work better. Other issue is more lens distortion than gopro. Depends on your needs. Great camera though (in terms of video quality) and cheaper than gopro.
