You're not able to view your video from the device so make sure you can connect to a PC/laptop. Color & overall quality of filming is standard, not wow-worthy. After I purchased the camera, I went home to practice and become familiar and proficient so nothing would get away. After attempting to follow along with the instructions and then finding that you have no way of observing what was being recorded, and hand having no way of reviewing footage, until it was too late. Oh, you can purchase a separate wrist viewer (for an additional purchase price), or attempt to sync with your cell phone. I returned the camera to Best Buy the next morning, and just used my JVC mini cam.

Exactly what I was looking for
