Posted .Hi Robyewest, using the wifi or NFC will drain the battery faster. We recommend turning the unit off or disbaling the wireless settings when not in use to preserve battery life. Thanks_Mitch

The moniter on the wrist is a neat idea. The only thing I really don't like is...there is no way of playing the video back with sound from the wrist moniter.

Small size, easy to travel with and sound quality is also good. I do have a gopro as well but wanted to try something different. I really like this camera. Anti fog sheets are a must, recent trip to Cancun proved their effectiveness, no foggy case after the were installed. One issue I did have was the live view remote, the Velcro strap is not strong enough to stay put as I lost mine after it was knocked off by a medium size wave. This should not have happened. Now I have to invest in another $150 to replace this, not sure if this is something I want to do considering I have already spent $300+. I would still recommend this camera but be aware of this as the live view does not float. Perhaps Sony can make the strap out of material that floats?

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The smooth image quality can not even be matched on all of my gopros. 1080 at 60fps is absolutely stunning, and the remote that comes with it has a strong battery life and its very easy to use and navigate. The Small size is also a huge benefit as its more comfortable with the head mounts. Thank you Sony for releasing this Amazing device!
