Love the picture quality of the DVDs we are running through our Sony - BDP-S6700 Streaming 4K Upscaling Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player. We are able to stream Netflix, which is a pretty cool feature. The Blu-ray was on sale and we got a really good deal. Thanks!

Small compact. Easy to use prefect. For the movies or titles. U still have without having to go over the top.

Lightweight, easy to hookup. Menu system a little dated. Has 4K Upscaling but I had a hard time really telling the difference, all I know is picture looked clear on a large TV.

Great purchase, I love my new Sony Blue--ray player in 4K. The picture is so clean and bright. Now I realize what I was missing from my old player. I am using the Sony on my new Sony TV, WOW!

If you just need a basic blu-ray player then this is the one for you - its compact so it takes up just a little room, and the picture quality is lovely. Plus the big draw for me is that it plays blu-ray 3D discs, which is a dying breed. Very happy!

I chose this Blu-Ray player for a great array of features, including the up-scaling, the WiFi connectivity, the connectivity with my HDTV controls, and the loaded apps. Unfortunately, my device started having trouble with playing Blu-Ray discs almost immediately. The Sony support was very helpful in stepping through several diagnostic and troubleshooting steps, but I've now sent the device back for a replacement. I'll see if I can come back to update this once I get the new device...

No one watches DVDs anymore, do they? I still have many of my favorite movies on DVD and Blu Ray. I already had this exact same model. However, when my wife decided she wanted to watch some of her favorite DVDs downstairs, I gave it to her. Then I found this same model as an excellent open box item. I thought it was worth it to have my own player upstairs. This model does everything I need.

The 6700 is a small unit, but provides a great quality playback. We bought this one as a gift after having had two for a number of years. We have never had issue with those we own and have even brought it with us on trips to use outside our home. When we wanted to buy a Blu-Ray for a gift we could not find any other that had the versatility, features or quality in this price range. It is a solid player. I did not give it 5 stars only because the unit itself has few controls. The remote must be used for everything other than powering it on and off and opening/closing the tray. Obviously since this is the third we have bought, we would recommend the 6700 to others.

I purchased this since our old blu ray player died and we purchased a 4K TV. This a great upgrade! It's not a 4K player but the upconvert suits us just fine.

Had read several on-line reviews of Blu-ray players. This seemed to meet all my requirements. Easy to hook up and as all I want it to do is play Blu-rays, it does that fast and accurately. No glitches or falters. Excellent picture on my Sharp LED TV

I was a little skeptical of a wifi blu-ray for lag time; however, this little Sony does the trick. It is compact and connectivity is easy with a flawless picture. I haven't experienced any issues and recommend.

I purchased this player for my 4K TV and it has not disappointed so far. It synced up easily to my WiFi. The picture quality is fantastic and I have compared the upscaling to just a bluray player and there is no comparison. Very happy with this purchase.

I love that there is an indicator light to say if it is on or off. It works better than my previous player. Directions were easy to follow for setup. I like it because I can play my personal dvd collection.

Easy set up and clean. FYI must have an AV receiver capable of 4K pass thru or 4K TV otherwise won't function properly. Loaded with Apps.. Got on sale. Wi-Fi set is easy no problems getting connected to network.

The dvd Works great and was easy easy hook up. The price was reasonable.

Easy to install, did so without instructions. Didn't come with HDMI cable but we had an extra so wasn't a concern. Picture and sound great. Have not tried any 4K dvd as we don't have any yet.

While there might be players with true 4K capability, I think when it came to price and quality I made the right choice. On-line reviews aided in my decision, as there were many positive comments on this Sony product.

This is very easy to connect, I have had no problems. Very compact and i can watch all my DVD's as well. Makes my older model TV a Smart TV. Will buy another very soon.
