I was a little skeptical of a wifi blu-ray for lag time; however, this little Sony does the trick. It is compact and connectivity is easy with a flawless picture. I haven't experienced any issues and recommend.

Lightweight, easy to hookup. Menu system a little dated. Has 4K Upscaling but I had a hard time really telling the difference, all I know is picture looked clear on a large TV.

Associate was helpful. It was easy to set up and use. Didn't like feature of linking it to my internet. (?) Compact. Works well with my older model TV.

The 6700 is a small unit, but provides a great quality playback. We bought this one as a gift after having had two for a number of years. We have never had issue with those we own and have even brought it with us on trips to use outside our home. When we wanted to buy a Blu-Ray for a gift we could not find any other that had the versatility, features or quality in this price range. It is a solid player. I did not give it 5 stars only because the unit itself has few controls. The remote must be used for everything other than powering it on and off and opening/closing the tray. Obviously since this is the third we have bought, we would recommend the 6700 to others.

Easy set up and clean. FYI must have an AV receiver capable of 4K pass thru or 4K TV otherwise won't function properly. Loaded with Apps.. Got on sale. Wi-Fi set is easy no problems getting connected to network.

I love that there is an indicator light to say if it is on or off. It works better than my previous player. Directions were easy to follow for setup. I like it because I can play my personal dvd collection.

While there might be players with true 4K capability, I think when it came to price and quality I made the right choice. On-line reviews aided in my decision, as there were many positive comments on this Sony product.

This is a small, lightweight unit with lots of ports. Very easy to use. Instruction book is included and is useful for installation and operation. Outstanding high quality upscaling of regular DVDs and online streaming video. Highly recommended!

This Sony player is perfect for 4k ! very crisp and clear movies it's price was perfect too.

Parents have a vacation house down the Cape. Really nice Sony 4K UHD TV, DVD Player broke. Bought this to match the TV, hooked up, turned on and set up within 5 minutes. So easy to use, highly recommended.

Very easy to setup and it comes pre-loaded with standard apps, Netflix, Amazon, etc. Connects quickly to Wi-Fi. Standard remote included allowing you to quickly jump through the menu options. Great video quality both streaming and DVD.

Works very well, great picture and sound. It makes no Noice. Up scale is great.

Just right for my movie-watching needs. It does everything, I don't want too many bells and whistles because it's too much work to learn it all. Ialso I got it on the Labor Day special sale which put it in my spending range.

This Blu-ray player is awesome, the easy set up, wifi, the compact size, make this player a great addition for movie nights.

This product is easy to use. It is a little slow at times when streaming Hulu. We have high speed internet and no issues on any other device. I would still highly recommend because great picture quality and easy to set up and use.

this DVD player does everything as advertised. Easy to hook up and the player itself in a smaller package--about half the size of my old DVD player. Would have given it a 5 star except the remote can't be programmed for my TV--a Best Buy brand Insignia

This is very easy to connect, I have had no problems. Very compact and i can watch all my DVD's as well. Makes my older model TV a Smart TV. Will buy another very soon.

I bought this Sony blu-ray player to use with my six year old LED HDTV that's not 4K. I have an extensive DVD collection and a much smaller number of Blu-ray disks that I enjoy watching. However, I don't stream from Netflix, or the other PPV services, because my DSL connection isn't fast enough for a true HDTV experience. I bought this player because the 4K upscaling capability improves the video quality of my DVDs and, of course, Blu-ray disks look absolutely flawless! I'm very happy with my Sony BDP-S6700 and I recommend it to users who don't yet feel the need to upgrade to 4K!

this unit has a great picture on my 4K TV. we have watched regular dvds and they look great.. havent messed with the other features yet however... all I wanted was a basic 4K player. I have a fire stick for all my other needs.
