Bought this to replace my old Panasonic blu-ray that recently quit working. This Sony has all the features I want and provides a great picture. Set-up was very easy, and it’s very easy to use.

It really has worked as it should be. Streaming well, play DVD very well.

The Sony BDP-S6700 is a really good replacement for my old Samsung blueray player. The picture quality is really good and the controls are very good.

This is a really great blu-ray player. Highly recommended if you have a Sony TV. My 4K TV remote automatically syncs with it. Excellent upscaling, plays everything, what's not to love?

Great 4k player and bluray. Perfect if you do not have a ps4 or a gaming system that supports bluray or 4k. Cannot go wrong with Sony usually.

This was a replacement for another Sony Blu-ray I had to return. (2nd in 3 years do to Wi-fi problems) . After getting to the store I see that Best but has cur way back on Blu-ray/dvd players and the choice is small. So I've been a fan of Sony for awhile and thought I'd go with them again after the Wifi problems. This new player isn't much different than the last the 4K upscaling is hardly noticeable. There are more apps on this one and seems to find the wifi faster but not any better than the two before. The extra money I paid for this wasn't worth it and I was told the whole 4K thing is going to be like all the fads before. Compared to the other players in the price range this was the best.

Amazing sound, solid design, and extremely easy to use start/stop buttons. I would recommend this player to anyone interested in vinyl.

I just bought this sony bluray,with 4k upscale,and honestly it really upgrade the regular blurays,even the regular dvds,nice work sony,definitely I will recommend it

This is a great unit especially for the price. I find streaming Netflix through the unit better than the Samsung unit I had before this. It seems to be quicker to upload and begin movies.

The only caveat is an occasional loss of audio during playback. Not sure why. Extracting the disk then reinserting it fixes the issue. Perhaps the newest generation fixed this.

Upscaled DVD to 1080i, & Blueray to 4k. The streaming is only as good as your internet connection, & seems to work great. Small footprint space saving design works great.

I purchased the Sony BDP-S6700 blu-ray player about a month ago to use with my 43 inch tv. It provides a great picture playing a blu-ray disc. I've used it to connect to Prime Video which I had no problems connecting and viewing. WiFi connection with my sound bar was easy to set up. I think it's a good player in this price range. Very pleased with it!

I bought this when I had a dlp TV but just got a samsung led tv and wow with the 4k upscale I can see things I could not before. The picture is very sharp and yes I would recommend this player

Good solid perfromace and a decent price. Bought this for my older friends to watch their movies on. Easy for them to use.
