Great player, starts relatively quickly, compact. Plays CD's, DVD's and BluRays. Upscales DVD's nicely.

Love the size of this blue ray player and its smart tv capabilities only problem is it sometimes doesn’t want to react to the remote you must have remote at same level as the player

Easy to set up and plays bluray discs flawlessly. I use it with my wireless router to stream Hulu and Amazon Prime programming. Does what it's supposed to do without any problems.

I bought this unit to replace a similar Samsung model that quit after less than 3 years. These are now commodity items, so I don't expect it to last as long as my 15 year old Toshiba. The player is fine. The streaming services are limited, but seem to work OK. As usual, because the unit is so small, the ON/OFF light is tiny, light green and hard to see. (The Samsung model didn't have one). The remote if also tiny, I guess to match the cuteness of the player itself. It starts up quickly and has read all of my DVDs, old and Blue-Ray without a hitch.

It works great. Easy to set up and use. I need to buy a second one for my daughter.

Does everything we needed. It's a compact little unit that doesn't take up much space. Connecting to our existing accounts (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) was easy and fast. Works great!

This blu ray player was a step up from the regular dvd player that we've had for several years. The price was great. The player was easy to set up. It plays movies great also.

This is a very goo Blu Ray player for the price. It doesn't have a front display but we can't see it from across the room anyway. We love the streaming feature. Much simpler than Apple TV.

I have been using this model for 6 years I bought a new one because disks are disappearing. It will not play 4k disks but it makes old and dvds and blu rays look like new . Read the specs. Sony electronics are the best

I was looking for an inexpensive bluray player that would allow me to connect to Amazon Video and Netflix. This system also allows for 4K upscaling - but since my received isn't capable of transmitting 4K, I can't comment on how well it does that. What I can say is that it plays BluRay movies wonderfully and quickly. Also, I have no issues connecting to Netflix or Amazon and both quickly display 1080p quality. I do use an ethernet cable (rather than wireless). I do recommend using the quick-on feature (turning on is almost instantaneous). Also, I recommend that you do let the system do an upgrade check when you are doing the setup.

Love the Wi-Fi feature with this item. and the size and ease of set up

We bought this for my in-laws. It was easy to work and the quality is what you expect from Sony. Of course the price was worth every penny. I plan on getting on for my own home.

It comes with a few pre-installed streaming apps, but there does not seem to be a way to add any other apps. I haven't noticed a difference from 4K Upscaling when watching Blu-rays, but I believe there is slightly better video quality when watching videos from an external drive (which can be plugged in to the front of the player). Recommended.

Great little player. Wanted something not too bulky and this fit the bill perfectly. Upscaling works like a charm.

Great replacement for my previous SONY BD from 2015. Of course with the newer technology, this model has a lot more functionality and awesome picture quality.

I have only used this new Blueray player a handful of times, so far. The picture quality, and sound is excellent, when playing Blueray movies, and it automatically includes many apps. However, so far, without delving into the manual, deeper, it does not display details, such as individual song titles, times, and etc., on the TV's screen, when playing music CD's. I may have just not found this option, yet, but it should be automatic.

Good value and performance in a small and simple package. Matches a similar component in another room and was always reliable.

Low price unit with big sound. Compact design, can be wall mounted under TV screen, or on table. Easy instructions, and tech call was very useful as well.
