Excellent Streaming Blu-Ray Player

The screen user interface was easy to understand so the initial install went smoothly. When I tried to play a Blu-Ray disk the unit gave me an error message. So, I went into settings and made adjustments for the size of my TV screen, etc. and the Star Trek movie played. I do not have a 4K TV so you need to make sure the setting of the Blu-Ray player match the capabilities of your TV. Overall, very satisfied!

I don't use them for Blu-ray discs but to watch pictures and videos from my servers. The improved Wi-Fi keeps lag time down. While I was unable to use any of my Bluetooth headphones I was able to stream Pandora to my Bluetooth-enabled stereo receiver/speakers as well as the sound from a YouTube video. The reason for not giving the best rating is, in reducing the footprint, there is a lack of inputs and a large (block) power supply.

My only criticism is that it is a bit slow when selecting functions. For example at power-on it sets itself on You Tube. I have to move to DVD mode and it seems to wait to bring the drive up to speed. Then I can select DVD mode and begin. Also open/close of DVD drive sluggish, and by that I mean maybe 3-5 seconds instead of immediate. Overall good purchase, right price, good quality and features. Glad I selected it.
