Great upgrade for our aging blue-ray player. Great picture, small footprint.

Easy to operate. Compact and lightweight. Basic...no unnecessary features.

Great for the price! Im not a super hi tech person or anything. Just lookinf for a reasonably priced dvd player for my new TV.

Did a lot of research on Blu-Ray players for my new 70" TV. Went between Samsung, Sony and other brands. Sony however seemed to offer the best combination of being compact but feature-filled. Definitely have been pleased overall with the picture/sound quality from the player. The apps offer all the basic ones (YouTube, Netflix, etc.) but some key ones like PLEX are not yet offered by Sony.

Small in size and perfect fit for my sunporch setup. Even got one as an open box - excellent that saved me about $20 vs a new one! It even plays my SACDs! I've had many Sony DVD and Blu-ray players over the years and they've never failed me. I actually have the UBP-UX80 4K player in my theater room and I love that one as well!

Ok for WiFi and Bluetooth but has no other good I/O. It has an HDMI and Coax digital out. The HDMI is not Arc. My other unit (OPPO) is much for picture and tonality better and it does not have HDMI Arc either but it also cost $1200. So, for the cost and features, this unit is a good buy.

Replaced an old blue ray player with this Sony Blue Ray. Noticed a big difference on my new Sony TV when playing movies. Even the older movies sound and picture was an upgrade.

I did not want to spend a ton of money on a blue ray player. So this one was on sale and had pretty good reviews. So far so good. I like watching Netflix. There were a few times where after turning it on, the screen was blank - not connecting. Not sure if it was my wifi - would not rule that out or the player itself. Haven't used the player for DVDs yet. I like the small remote control but I noticed it takes a few seconds to react to turning it OFF.

This DVD player is compact and has excellent playback features. It is also Bluetooth capable and has a screen mirroring option to show your cell phone screen on your TV. We used this unit to show movies to our race team outside our trailer on a large Flat Screen Monitor and then to show a live feed of the race from a cell phone. All is working fine with the new player. Easy to use and great picture

I really needed a new 3d Blu-ray, Blu-ray and 4k upscaling with wifi built in.

I bought this blu ray player to replace my old one that finally stopped working. This unit has a much better picture than my old Sony has. This has a bunch of stuff I’ll probably never use but you never know. I am interested in the fact that it plays SACD cds. I have a couple but I haven’t tried it yet. I would highly recommend this player to any movie lover...

This is a great 4K player! It makes all discs look great, even old DVDs that weren't remastered. Loads quickly, easy to use remote.

The Blu-Ray DVD player was easy to plug in and plays our movies great!
