This did/blue ray player is easy to set up. The price was very reasonable. This player has the capacity to stream Netflix.

I bought the Sony BDPS1500 Streaming Blu-ray Player as a gift for my husband. There were some movies that he wanted for his movie collection that only came in Blu-ray editions. He looked at several different brands at several stores and decided that the Sony at Best Buys was the best value for the money. He found the Sony was easy to connect and program for use. He is very pleased.

Nice. Works as advertised. Has your basic good apps for streaming and is slightly cheaper than the other higher brands.

I bought this for my father in-law as he has a small trailer home with not much space and a 20" TV. Great cheap simple little blu-ray player fit in right by his TV and he could of not been happier. It is fast and gets the job done especially if you mainly want to watch DVDs or Blu-Ray disks and not mess with any apps. Now don't get me wrong this player can do that too but you will need a hard wired network connection (sorry no wifi) to make that feature work.

Perfect product for my son. He can watch both Blu-ray and regular DVDs as well as streaming from online sites...

Really good for the price, easy to connect. This is a great blue ray dvd player if you don't use or have 3d TV.

DVD players are getting smaller and smaller! I hadn't planned on buying this particular unit, but when I saw it in the store I was amazed by its tiny size and its functionality. As with most similar products today, it's super simple to set up, and works much the same as a slightly older Sony Blu-Ray player that I still use for another TV. I would recommend this unit.

You really can't go wrong with this purchase. Especially if you are a Sony fan and you have other Sony products. It works perfectly with the HDMI control integration and BRAVIA Sync. If I had to gripe it would be because there aren't any displays on the front or definitive lights for "disc in" or "power on", etc however at this price point you don't get those features. A little basic for a home theater unit but perfect for a bedroom player.

Great value for the price...only wish is the unit would connect via wifi rather than ethernet to run smart apps.

This is my first Blu-ray player and I got it because I had some Blu-ray discs and wanted to see the difference between them and those I had on DVD. At first, I did not notice a difference but then it dawned on me how great these Bd's are! I only wish I had gotten Wi-Fi only to connect it to the internet to update it. Of course, I can do it manually.

It is small and does exactly what I needed it to do. Easy to operate and loads Blu ray discs quickly.

Playback of DVDs and Blu Rays characterised by clarity. Simple remote makes for ease of use. Comes with streaming apps loaded, but the one HUGE drawback (thus the only 4 stars) is lack of Wifi (corded connection only). [Work around: I stream through a PS4] A good player for the $$
