This DVD player has a great picture, better than any other sony we have so far. I am always impressed with Sony quality, but this is even better than I had expected. It was easy to set up too.

If you can get this at the $80 price, go for it. Solid performance, flexible playback options (AVCHD files play via USB perfectly), loads of streaming options, 3D and WiFi built-in. Great player for the price.

Easy-to-use, and very impressed with the service. It is small and lightweight which gives you plently of options as to where to place it. We love it so much we purchased two for seperate TVs

This was a very easy unit to set-up and configure. Basic features and very nice remote (size, functions and layout). More controls needed on the unit itself because sometimes the remote isn't always handy.

This blu ray player is very versatile and easy to use. Connects easily to TV, and with wi fi, allows you to have a virtually wireless entertainment system anywhere in the house.

Wanted a blu-ray player and I decided on Sony over Samsung. Both have very good ratings. Easy set up, great player, Perfect! Price was affordable! Made a great choice. Happy.

The A/V installer recommended this and the reviews were very good so I bought it. So far it has been a very good choice for the price I paid for a 3D BlueRay DVD player.

This DVD player is compact. The addition of the apps that give quick access to Netflix is a great feature.its compatible with my other Sony electronics.

Everything work great. Excellent picture quality. like the remote control with the Netflix option on it. Just could be better with the google chrome as internet search.

We replaced a Samsung that was giving us heartache for a little over a year. That ended up getting replaced under GeekSquad Plan. The gentlemen in that section was nice enough to give me some great info in store on the replacement options brans to go for and not. All in all he highly recommended the Sony line. We couldn't be happier with he choice. We haven't had any issues outside of a user issue my wife has that you cannot open the CD-Tray while in Netflix App. Not a issue more of a wife complaint. The apps work great and the WI-FI hasn't caused any issues. All in all great product happy with our choice.

I bought a couple of these for the rooms in the house with "not-so-smart" TVs, mainly so we could stream Netflix in those rooms. They are good quality. My only quibble is that Sony has made the setup for Netflix harder than it needs to be. After connecting it I had to update the system software on it to even get it to show me a Netflix app option. The setup directions on the Sony website are buried and out of date (it said to choose menu options that don't exist on this model/revision). Once it's set up there's no problem, it's just a matter of getting it to that point. The updates and multiple reboots can be a little annoying, but it is a solid device.

Decent enough, very compact and does works as expected. I bought this for the 3D feature. I realized after purchasing, the option is not very useful, though no issues with the player.

This is my first bluray player and after a decent amount of research, i think i have picked a good one. I recently purchased a 4K samsung TV, so i wanted to get a bluray player to get the best possible picture when watching movies. i wanted 3D capabilities, but since my TV does such a good job at upscaling, i didn't need the bluray player to do it as well (why i chose the 5500 over the 6500). also with the USB input and apps, i was able to eliminate a roku 2 from my home theater. while the roku does have MANY more apps, i found that i only used the main ones that this player has.

Nice compact DVD player. I like the fact that it is compact and can fit in our entertainment center. controls were easy to understand and set up was fast.

Great Blu Ray player. It comes back to where you left off after you turn the TV off. Produces a great picture to a great TV. easy to use and understand.

I enjoy this blue ray player.The option to be wireless or hard wired is nice.Mostly the compact design fits my use well.For the price it is a decent machine.

This player does as expected, so I have no complaints about the quality of the picture. The only thing I don't like about it is the small remote has lots of buttons jammed close together, so someone with fat fingers (like me) often pushes the wrong button. Accidentally pressing "Stop" instead of "Pause" is a pain when you have to start the disc from the beginning in this case. My old Sony DVD player had the "start where last stopped" feature. I wish this one had it too.

I bought this machine to play 4k and 3d discs but I use it for more than that. I do Netflix and Prime streaming with it also. I found that it will play all my old DVD's of various formats as well as my older homemade vacation videos. Excellent picture and sound quality and the 3D is outstanding. Excellent machine !

It took me about 1 minute to install and set this up. The little tiny unit offers top quality and many features. I love it. Way to go Sony.

this DVD player is a good addition with good picture and sound, easy to use, and I like to convenience of Netflix and other features.
