Great job ! The sound is phenomenal. We purchasedthe subwoofer also I recommend you get both feels like you’re in a movie theater.

I agree that it’s not cheap. However the setup and sound is fantastic! And if it was a sound issue, either they didn’t know how to setup or their TV is not compatible. Summary- This is a great sound bar!

Connection Issues

Also it the wifi connection randomly disconnected; the user will need to unplug and reconnect the power cord in order to reestablish the wifi connection. Sony could definitely produce a better product with this price tag. Disappointed with the remote control and it's lack of features.

To enhance your music audio, we recommend using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app to adjust two specific settings. First, ensure that [Sound Field] is turned on; this feature utilizes the bar's advanced processing to provide a more immersive surround sound effect with a greater sense of presence. Additionally, you can enable [DSEE Ultimate], which uses AI technology to accurately upscale compressed music files for a higher-fidelity listening experience.
Regarding the Wi-Fi connectivity, drops often occur due to signal interference or distance. For the most stable connection, we recommend placing the soundbar within 25 feet of your router. It is also helpful to keep other wireless electronics, such as cordless phones or additional Bluetooth devices, away from the soundbar to prevent signal disruption.
Lastly, we appreciate your feedback regarding the remote control. Because this unit offers a vast array of advanced settings and features, we designed the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app to be the most convenient and comprehensive way to manage the system. This allows for a much deeper level of customization than a traditional remote could provide.

Great, especially when paired with Bravia9 TV

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using a Theater Bar 8, without a sub or rears, but with the Center Sync of a Bravia 9. Overall I've been very happy with it, particularly for Atmos encoded content. The surround effects have been surprisingly good, although the height effects have been a little lacking. That could be due to my room, which has a vaulted ceiling that is 16 ft at its peak. It took me a while to get the settings dialed in just right. Out of the box it sounded a little thin. But when I got the sound field setup just right, it fills the room with sound without any problem. The only reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars include: - It's not quite as good for listening to music, at least I have not yet figured out what the optimal settings are for that. - There don't seem to be that many options for further customization of the sound. If Sony's preset options don't work for you, you're pretty much out of luck.

Perfect companion for Bravia TV

I added the Theater Bar 8 and SW3 subwoofer. They sound fantastic and represent a very nice upgrade. I love how well integrated it is with the TV. I can control everything from the TV interface so it is easy for other family members to use ... they do not need to anything it just works. I am using the Acoustic Center channel feature so that the speakers of my A95L are handling the center. With Voice Zoom 3 dialog is crystal clear and voice appears to come from the screen which is exactly what I wanted. I wall mounted the soundbar using the included template. This was also very easy though it does not come with the screws. Setup using the Bravia Connect app was simple and it is nice having both the app as well as the TV interface to control the sound.

I did enhance the sound with the Bass and rear speakers (lower model). The only problem is that my Sony TV is from 2021 and so I can't fully control the speaker bar settings. Bought it all on sale so I mark the value higher than I normally would.

1st soundbar experience

Good menu integration with Sony TV

Sound enhancement is minimal without the back speakers and subwoofer. There is minimal stereo separation from the soundbar.
