Excellent for note taking and in general use. It has very good quality and gives great service.

recorder is very clear and captures voices from across the room. Great for meetings, or any type of speeches that you are in. The sound is very clear for as small as the recorder.

It's easy to use and can pick up voices across the room sitting on a table. What more could you want for just 30 bucks?! The on/off button you have to slide and hold to turn off or on, so it protects you from accidentally having the device on and wasting your battery.

I bought this for my 7 year old niece for her birthday. She had it figured out in no time, with a little help. She loved it, it was exactly what she wanted. I did buy the extended warranty since it was going to a young person. I would say the voice playback was excellent. Buy this product.

Simple to operate. Picks up some background noise. small enough to conceal if desired. Does a very good job.

This is the best little recorder I have ever used. It's size makes it so handy to carry along at all times. It's great for meetings, on job site in place of taking notes, or at home playing with the kids. It's so easy to use that a child or a grandparent either would have no problem. Would definitely buy again.

A friend recommended this product before we went to the store. He recommended different brand and my husband and I had used a couple of other brands. However, the brand recommended by our friend was not carried in this store. The sales rep recommended the Sony. We looked it over and decided that since Sony is a well known brand, we would try it out. It has worked fine and allowed us to finish the job for which the recorder was purchased.

Great recorder for a great price. I searched the web before buying this. It is small, has a lot of memory and is great for students like me. It has five folders to record into. It says it has about 4000 hours of recording, though I have not tested this claim. I am totally satisfied with this device!

This recorder records good quality sound clips and have good playback. One key feature missing is the ability to export the saved sound clips to your computer.

Easy to use. Does just what I need it to do. Helps me record events at work to log later in a report.

Got this recorder on sale so that's a plus. It does the job but I don't like the fact you can't hook it up via USB to a computer to upload audio files. You get what you pay for!
