It was very easy to use, the sound is great, very convenient to program date. It provides 5 different channels (folders), in which you can have several recordings. So, it makes it very convenient to organize the recordings. I purchased it for my mom, who is not very tech-savy, and she found it extremely easy to use on a daily basis for her trainings and classes. I highly recommend this product.

Has a lot of features for the cost. I thought it would be too difficult for an oldster like me but it wasn't. I use the features I need and they were easy to learn. It has pretty fair pickup and playback sound.

As mentioned, it is a neat audio recorder with recording quality sound, and has 6 capacities for recording my needed records. However, the machine is rather weak with plastic naterial madeup, and it can be broken easily; and it doesn't has rechargable battery option. Anyway, it is conveniece in carrying around and for instant recording.

I needed a digital recorder and found this at a reasonable price. It was the only one from Sony, an electronics brand I have trusted for years. It was easy to begin to use, it works well and it was affordable compared to the alternatives.

Great recorder, does it's job well for a low price. Not cheap but inexpensive. Good sound quality and fits in a pocket easily or the small pocket on my work bag.

Using this for field work. It's saving me a lot of time while gathering data, eliminating note taking. I also like to use it when taking trip photos. I can make an audio note on each photo. My camera also has this function, but I can save camera battery using this.

This recorder is high quality and very simple to use. Bought it for my 91 year old father to record his "stories" on and he easily learned how to operate it. The price was good for a quality Sony product.

Great for college classes. I can review lecture easily. Sit as close to front as possible as would be the situation anywhere. A lot of nice features and I can save to external hard drive.

Records voice in a very good quality. I chose the cheaper of the recorders and I was a little worried but it worked perfectly! happy with my choice!

Bought this to make recordings of Bugle Calls to teach to a class full of Boy Scouts. Great price and it worked like a charm. Very good sound quality and easy to use.

This recorder shipped to me quickly. It's so easy to use and the sound quality is quite fine. Batteries last a long time. I like the automatic off feature, which is nice to have to avoid any accidental battery use. It's easy to turn on and off as well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I'm using this for interviews for my qualitative Research and it is silent, reliable, easy to operate and has great storage! Don't spend more- this is all you need.

Great little recorder for the price. Have to make sure the mic is pointed in the direction of what you're recording for best audio quality but overall very happy.

I needed a tape recorder for a class but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This item fit the bill! It was easy to use and well worth the money. I am glad I purchased it when I did!

bought this for my wife who is a school bus driver and is required to attempt to write down plate numbers of vehicles that run her red lights. this recorder fits perfectly in her pocket and is easy to use, has clear playback and folder options that allow her to save plate numbers along with work related notes that she doesn't have time to write down.

Small, works great so far. Helps with keeping minutes of meetings. I sat next to speaker so not sure how it does from a distance but great at close range.

This recorder is nice, small and practical to carry around. The buttons are easy to see and use. Nevertheless, it does not have options to connect to a computer or transfer information, for which reason it would only be useful if all you need is to play back and hear it.

Although the quality of recorded sound on this device is excellect, it cannot be transferred to any other device. No transferring of files. What is recorded STAYS in the device. On top of that, if you record several things, or various things, it is a nightmare to try to find it again. No fast forward. Also, you cannot add files to this for future use....no in or out of this device. I know it has a purpose, but is so extremely limited, it should be discontinued as a product totally. While this device now collects dust, I purchased a similar device from Sony that you can transfer files off of and it is what I need. Sadly the advertising for this does not allow for rotation of the product. Since I previously had a similar product that you could transfer files, I believed it was the same, as it has the same appearance from the front. With a proper photo that I could rotate, I would have never wasted my time or money on this. All thumbs down on this product.
