I used my recorder for my mother’s doctor appointments, since only one person can go in with her. Easy to use, perfect size just wish it could get louder then it does.

I bought this product to record one of the most difficult class for graduate school. The professor talks/thinks fast and sometimes I found it hard to follow. This recorder is easy to use and you can pause and replay as many times as you need. The sound quality is amazing - even sometimes I sat in the back of the classroom, it can still catch voice of the professor clearly. Be aware that the recorder is very good at catching sound, it will record unwanted surrounding noise, especially the source of the sound is closer to you.

I like this recorder. Works very well and is convenient to have on hand as a backup. The only thing I find is that you need to have extra batteries just in case.

I use it to record on demand MP3 podcasts of radio programs from my laptop. It does a great job. Easy to use. Good quality recordings. I usually play back through a "Jam" type of speaker with aux input or I use earphones. The built-in speaker is OK in relatively quiet situations. I usually use the highest quality recording. Batteries go faster but the better quality is worth it to me.

Got this for recording a book I want to write. Easy to use, compact to carry for the random thought, battery life good.

easy to use and not bad for recording. although the quality of sound is not bad, however, it's clear sound. would recommend it to others if they want a decent price product.

This recorder does its job. Voice pick up is good and playback is good too. The only bad thing is it doesn't come with a USB cord or a memory stick slot so playback is only through the device itself.

Very comfortable item. Sony manufactured good quality thing. Almost pocket size, good quality of the recording and very convinient to listen

I bought this to record lines from a script (for a play) that I was trying to learn. First problem is that the directions on how to use this are only found online unless you want the bare bones directions which don't say much. Second problem is you can't rewind to a certain point (like you could with, say, a tape recorder). I guess if you just want to record a meeting, let it record and hear it later, then it's a good tool. But for recording things where you might want to backtrack at different spots of the recording, I'm not sure how that's done. I think if you're really good at technology, you'd probably have less problems than I've mentioned here. For $35, I'm wishing for the good ol' days of just a regular cassette recorder. They were cheap but highly effective and uncomplicated.

I sit near the front of the class but this recorder gets everything I need. I kind of hide it because I don't know if I am suppose to record my lectures so it is GREAT that I still can hear everything when I play it back!

The device is a little complicated to use but is very handy. It's small light and convenient. I'm an investigator and it makes my job so much easier. I would definitely recommend this product. I have used many recorders in the past but this one is by far the handiest.

This is a nice little recorder that sounds clear when you play it back. It fits in your pocket and can take it anywhere.
