Seems to be a fine recorder. It even has different folders to sort your recordings if you'd like. I just wish it was rechargeable, lost a star for that. Also because of the price...

This voice recorder is very helpful with my university class since I can record the whole class which lasts up to three hours and anything I miss I can pick up when I replay the recordings

I went into Best Buy looking for an "old school" tape recorder. The hard case with tapes that you place on the spindles. The sales associate pointed me in the direction of the recorders, but I still didn't see what I came for. I was staring right at something called a digital recorder. This recorder is very user friendly, easy to carry when you're on the go and the sound is crystal clear. Everything I needed and more. I highly recommend this product.

Works well picks up voices well and is very clear and lives up to what is advertises it will do. Not Great but good value for money

I will be reading college assignments and be typing my answer or reply or fieldwork journal,then take a breakand I'll grab my voice recorder so if I come with something else that applies or a new idea. I record it and can replay to type it or modify it.

The recorder was used as study aid. I was able to record key concepts and play them back in the car an during free time.

Purchased this for my mother to use, and glad I got this one! It is very easy to use and pretty durable bc it gets thrown into her purse and then purse onto the ground. Not too many buttons to get confused with!

For simple everyday use,this sony recorder is very easy to use, perfect size and weight (very light) makes it easy to take anywhere and will fit in almost any shirt pocket.Sound quality is just as good as some of the other more expensive recorders I've had in the past, has more than enough storage space for a day of school or for just memo keeping and for the price no reasonto stress if drop or lose it.

I needed this item at the last minute. Best Buy had item in stock and price was reasonable. It helped me out with my meeting.

Sony-BX Series Digital Voice Recorder is a good inexpensive alkaline battery powered tape recorder. Once you learn how to move the slide-style on/off button, it is easy to change volume or length to make the recording you want. The machine numbers timed recordings as you make them, making it easy to return to the recordings to re-play, edit, or delete. Sony includes start-up batteries, a very nice feature.

Pro's it records sounds from far away suprisingly pretty clearly. Con's. 1 thing i don't like is that it only runs off batteries. Which by my 22nd hour of using it (using the batteries it came with) had already died. 2nd thing when it died it deleted a very long & important recording. There's no auto save when it dies! So disappointing! Im hoping i can return it.

My sister uses this when she is doing interviews for her school paper. She absolutely loves it and now that she has it, couldn't imagine doing her job without it.

I always have good to great ideas and then forget them because I'm unable to write it down. This works great, when I'm driving, at a sporting event or just having a conversation with people. I can record my thoughts and have them at the ready when needed.
