I purchased this Sony Subwoofer on sale at Best Buy...got a pretty good deal for $120. I must first say, I previously owned a Sony subwoofer that I also had purchased from Best Buy years ago...My old subwoofer was much more powerful w/ deeper rich bass and the price tag was also cheaper as I only payed $100. After about 10 years the old one finally burned out. I decided to get this one, as I always trust in Sony products. The Sony - Core Series 10" is a great subwoofer in a small room... However, if using in a larger room like a big living room, then it's solid at best. The bass doesn't seem to carry rich deep bass from wall to wall in a large room, but it does a decent job. I definitely would not have payed the regular price of $240, but on sale for $120 is a pretty good buy.

Great option. Installed to my current Insignia soundbar which I would say it’s average, and it made a huge difference at a good price

Matched sub with Sony 5.1 atmos receiver, Sony center channel, and my “old but gold” Bose 401’s and 301’s speakers. Beautiful sound and bass is more than efficient.

Great little sub for a medium sized room. If you set it up right, movies and music sound incredible. The price was right too. I am very happy with it. But it when in goes on sale.

I can actually hear the subwoofer in my surround sound now! I have even had to make sure this one stays around the lower side of its own volume control.

The Sub has decent base. It was easy to connect to the receiver I purchased. I did return the sub and exchange for the Polk Signature 10 inch sub. The reason being is that the Polk integrates better into my surroundings and to me has more of a substantial appearance.

Easy hook up, great sound, fantastic price (we bought Best Buy open box saved a little; no surprises, worked well). Initially wanted a Yamaha but went for this. I guess its just as good.

Excellent subwoofer for the price. The Sony Core Series Subwoofer provides great bass and a great value. There may be better subwoofers on the market but, they're more expensive than the Sony.

For only being a 10 inch sub, this packs a lot of punch. Was very easy to setup with my AV receiver and speakers

Great price - on sale and save $100! Nice sound and lots of volume. Gives a sense of "fullness." Easy to set up. Would buy it again.

Purchased this subwoofer along with a set of the insignia Bluetooth bookshelf speakers as a housewarming/Christmas gift for my daughter. We set it up together listening to a variety of music and video sources. We were able to get a nice seamless bass extension of probably 2 octaves after tweaking the crossover and volume controls to best match up with the main speakers. Reducing the bass setting on the bookshelf speakers also permitted more clean volume from the system overall. This set up exceeded my expectations.

Surprisingly amazing. Works great with my vintage Yamaha CR620 amp. The bass is exceptional.

I had to get a new sub and the reason was because my old Energy sub went out . So this was a great update for me . Bass is hitting on all levels . For the price I paid you can't go wrong.

This sub has the power to shake your whole house. If you are looking for affordable power this is th sub for you. Very clean sound.

Very good performance! Deep bass if you want your house rumble. It is a no-frill product and will blend in with all kind of set up. Well priced!

I was impressed with the Sony 8inch subwoofer. It’s just right for my loft. I purchased it as an open box and its was as good as new.
