I was wanting a little more punch, especially during my action movies. This does not disappoint. Watching movies this weekend it was a major improvement to my old speaker. Loads of crisp, rattle-free bass. Also sounds great when I'm using the soundbar for music streaming. Maybe not concert quality for the music buffs, but far better than any portable BT speaker. Hands down one of the best additions I've made to my "home entertainment system". Well worth it for only $150.

Awesome Subwoofer!

My first one I bought on black Friday was a total dud. Very Poor sound. At first I thought is this what it supposed to sound like? The sound was Very dull and had no thump at all. I heard the demo at my local Best Buy and was in awe. So I made a return for another one and the Geek squad took a look at it and found it was defective. So after my exchange I went home and was blown away after setting it up. So after having this Subwoofer for a month now I am very pleased and would recommend this to anyone.

Great sound for a great price

About 2 months ago I heard strange popping sounds from the subwoofer and needed to replace it. I did not want to spend too much so the Sony Core fit the bill. I have to say my system has never sounded better.
