This camera has an amazing zoom paired with it's image stabilizer. I upgraded from a 20x zoom Sony HX1 (2009 model) and I couldn't be happier!

I absolutely love this camera. Great pictures and zoom capabilities. I love the option of taking pictures from my videos. The only thing it needs is WiFi capabilities.

The only thing this camera needs is the Wi-Fi to be perfect! Easy to use after a few times of using it. What I like best is how easy it is to charge it. Worth the monry

This camera is great for sitting in the crowd and getting great close up pictures of my grandchildren while they are on stage. I did not even turn on the flash since is was not allowed. I got great close ups.

Camera is a good quality for the price for non professional photographers or anyone who likes the ability to self focus and zoom. Gives the feel of a super high quality camera without the super expensive lenses.

I have really enjoyed the camera. It takes very clear, sharp pictures. The learning curve has been pretty steep but it is something that is not too hard to understand. The directions on the camera are excellent.

Bought this just before our recent family vacation. The zoom and image stabilization are phenomenal. Great intuitive interface. Battery life is surprisingly good considering it has a (what appears to be) HD viewfinder screen. I bought an extra battery but never needed to use it even having taken several hundred pictures per day. I’m not a photographer by any means but this camera has produced some of the best photos I’ve ever taken. This camera will do me just fine for years probably. 10/10 would recommend.

Still getting used to the camera; however, pictures so far have been outstanding! Pictures are sharp and have good color quality. Recommend adding a 55mm UVA or UVB filter to protect the lens. Lens cap needs to have a connecting string to the camera so that it doesn't get lost. Looking forward to taking it on our next vacation.

I was going to go for a full manual setting camera when a friend recommended this camera. So glad I purchased it. Ease of use, makes learning manual fun.

I exchanged it for a Canon camera. I was a bit hesitant to exchange because the Canon came with a better zoom than this camera. After taking a chance and exchanged it, I have no regrets. Sony is the best camera. It is so easy to use and the picture clarity is very good. I took it to Peru and I had a great collection of pictures. I took pictures in the night without any flash and they are great.

Takes great pictures in a gym - color in pictures is great. Other cameras the pictures have a yellow cast. Love the zoom!

I purchased this camera after owning a Digital SLR which required me to carry 3 three lens, and a flash. This camera has it all in one lightweight package. The zoom feature is unbelievable. If you use it to the max zoom setting you will most likely need a tripod for support. Very easy to use, with a great in camera tutorial feature. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this camera.

I am not a tech savvy person. I often have a hard time figuring out how to use features on electronics, but not with this camera. It is so user friendly. It also takes beautiful pictures. A really great feature is that you can take a picture while videoing. This is great because my daughter is a gymnast and I want to have video and photos. I am so pleased with this camera.

The picture quality of this camera is fabulous. I also have a Nikon D90 so I have had experience with digital cameras. My new favorite toy.

This camera takes amazing pictures. I owned a Nikon DSLR for about 3 years before I purchased this camera. My wife and I had a baby and decided to downsize. With were willing to give up a little picture quality for a somewhat smaller camera because we needed a more portable camera. We decided to go with this Sony. Not only is it a little smaller but it takes BETTER pictures. It is also very user friendly. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

Brought this camera to capture pics of my children and it has been great! Clear pictures and even caught my son in action so somersaults!

This is a great camera, especially for the cost. Takes great photos, only negative found is that it's a little bigger than I wanted but was still smaller than comparable cameras.
