After googling the issue, it's the white screen of death. Tapping the top where it says cyber shot did not work for me. I will be returning this to Best Buy the day before my Europe trip, thanks for nothing.

Posted .Hi Pvk5561, we're sorry to hear about this problem that you're having with your unit. If you're referring to the DSC-W800, please perform a power reset. Here are the steps:
- Power off the camera.
- Remove the battery pack.
- Remove the button-sized lithium battery.
- Allow the camera to remain without power for 30 seconds.
- Reinsert the battery pack.
- Power on the camera.
If the problem goes unresolved, service may be required. Please visit eService for more repair information. The website is at https://esupport.sony.com/CA/p/service.pl.
