Purchased this for an elderly client. Was less that $50 and it works just fine. Great product for the money.

This is old technology. But this refurbished unit performs really well and at a great value. We bought it to watch an old tv mini series from the 80s. And it didn’t disappoint.

We chose this Sony DVD player based on reviews we read on-line and the fact the Sony brand we know to be reputable. We have been very pleased with its ease of use, reliability, and picture clarity. In today's high-tech times, a DVD player might be one of the last ways one would watch a movie; however, this DVD player is a quality unit that will not disappoint. Best Buy customer service is always dependably outstanding as well.

This Sony DVD Player is a great compact little DVD player. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles of some of the newer models, but it costs a lot less. If you are looking for something small that fits within your budget for playing DVDs that you rent or own, this is a great little unit.

Just what I needed. With the cost of cable these days, I'm going back to DVD's. Thankful for such a good deal.

For a no frills, easy to hook up, DVD player, this is the one! No HD TV necessary either! Even though the menu has several options for you to tweak the image and sound settings if applicable, I found using the basic default settings worked just as well. Easy to install, small and space-saving design, just pick a movie and enjoy! Worth the price for sure!

Works great but had a few issues setting up within the ROKU tv, since I had to install it with an HDMI cable.

I needed a regular DVD player to play video's for a jewelry glass wanted a simple dvd player no blu-ray no dvd hard rive storage no wireless hub just a simple DVD player and this one fit the bill. Hope it lasts a while because it's getting really hard to find one without all the bells and whittle and this one is small in size, light weight and works perfectly.

My other DVD player broke down. I actually bought two of these units. Brought them home, plugged them in to the existing wires, took out the remote and it fired up immediately with great picture quality. Believe me I am not great at these setups and this was extremely easy. If I can do it anyone can :)

I finally had to replace my 15 year old Sony DVD player. I was not interested in getting a Blue Ray or even a Blue Ray/Regular DVD unit. I was a little leery about this unit, because it was only $35.00! But the reviews were good so I bought it. Glad I did! Setup was so easy and I really love how it works. Have to admit, because I replaced a Sony unit with a Sony unit, the features were familiar to me. I would recommend this unit to everyone.
