This DVD player is small, easy to use, and fairly inexpensive. We purchased this for our families Rec Room so that when we have our young nieces and nephews over they can put in a video and relax and enjoy instead of running around the house, like wild men and women and misbehaving.

Great DVD player made by Sony for a excellent value. Its sleek, thin, fits easily with other audio components. I like to always try to get the most bang for my dollar. The color and sound quality is great and no skipping. It's perfect for the kids room, spare room etc. I certainly would purchase another. I hope this helps.

This unit is a basic, entry-level DVD/CD player. It does what it's supposed to do and is very simple to connect/set up. The unit is smaller than a "normal" player and really needs to be the top component as it's smaller than most cable boxes or satellite boxes. It does not have a display on the unit, and has only simple controls- play, eject, power, etc. Everything else is done from the remote. I use this in the shop to play CDs, connected to a vintage receiver, so it suits my needs. It would also be a good choice for children or those who just want to watch DVDs but may not be the player for more sophisticated home requirements. There are no Internet capabilities. The DVD picture is good. The only down side to the player is that it is slow to respond to commands from the remote or the unit controls, sometimes taking 4-5 seconds to begin after pressing play (after loading & reading the disc). The eject button is the same. Other buttons like pause are faster. I have seen other brands of inexpensive players that are similar in response. I did test it with a variety of DVDs and CDs with the same results.

Very good price for an excellent product. Purchased 5 for use in patient rooms in a medical setting. These function well and have a great track record with the previous ones purchased in the past (same manufacturer/model) will likely purchase another for home use.

This product work great Sony make a long lasting DVD player and many other great electronics.Only down falls are no hdmi cord plug and no zoom button on control.Does the job for a good price and they usually last many years to come.

Plays my DVDs that I have owned for a long time and enjoy watching. Easy to use. Size is great for space available.

This is a perfect DVD player with easy hook up to my TV. I wanted to give a big shout out to Tay with your Customer Service Team. I was given friendly, professional service by Tay and I also looked at the Geek Squad chart with the different plan options.

The Sony DVD player purchased does a good job playing our grandchilds movies. The sound from DVD player is not quite as loud as we would like compared to our normal TV. Have to turn the volume up to hear everything. Picture is good quality. This player is not HDMI and uses the 3 wire analog system - 2 for sound and 1 for video output to the TV

This is a very small DVD player. Very basic. It does a great job and is easy to transport.

I wanted to watch some movies that I had on DVD but weren't available online so I went out to find a low-cost DVD Player and bought this. It is very basic and works just fine. Highly recommend if you just need to watch a basic DVD. Also, nice size and looks great! Super easy to use!

The DVD hooked up to my component surround sound system was older and stopped working. I was not able to acquire a Blue Ray/DVD player due to the age of my older tv. The DVD player I purchased was the perfect solution and works great. The sales person was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job in helping me choose the right DVD player.

No representative explained that I'd need an hdml cable rather than the three-pronged lines for the DVD player to feed into my new flat-screen TV. Thus, the DVD player was excellent for a brief time for my previous TV, but now I hope there's an adapter available.
