I had a Sony STRDH100 2 channel receiver and a pair of Polk T-15 speakers. I needed a player that could play CD's as well and music DVD's that I burned from my computer. Player works fine in both areas. My only complaint is that response time when using the remote is very slow. Other than that, it fits my needs.
