I purchased this DVD player to put in our guest bedroom where space was limited and as always Sony came through with a great, easy to setup and use at a even better price DVD player.

In a world of digital downloads I wanted the feeling of something more tangible and long lasting. This DVD player is perfect. It allows me to experience the feeling of watching films forever without the fear of losing content in the future. In addition the price point was just right. If you're apprehensive about this purchase: don't be shy, I certanly haven't regretted it.

I read a ton of reviews on this website, as I was looking to buy a DVD Player. This one is a Sony and it was just what I wanted for our Standard Definition TV (not HD). It has the replay A to B feature, as well as other good features that Sony puts into their DVD players. This was one of the cheapest models out there, from any brand, probably because most people are working with HD TV's, now. However, this has all I needed and more, yet is easy to set up and figure out. Have not had any problems with it in it's 1st week of use and don't think I will, as I've had Sony products before and am always delighted with their quality of merchandise.

If you have an older television, this DVD player is great for playing DVD's. It is very easy to install, great remote that does everything and has a small nice console. If you need to watch Blue Ray discs, there is a different model that Sony's makes also.

Easy setup. Open box but everything looked brand new. Plays all my DVD's including homemade. Great price point for a great product.

The Sony DVD player is a good player for basic DVD watching. It was easy to set up, easy to use, and plays quite well without any bells or whistles. I would recommend this for use in bedroom, kitchen, or wherever basic movie watching is in your home.

Cheap dvd player. Not much to say. Good price, works good, got for our camper.

Prior to being hit by a car while walking down the street I always did my yoga and exercises with my dvd's. I suddenly had to stop all of this. During my absence my DVD player broke down. As soon as my health improved I wanted to get back to all my exercises and staying healthy. I needed a new DVD player. I reached out to Best Buy and the representative I spoke with was very helpful and informative. I found a very good DVD player that I could attach to my tv and immediately went and purchased it.

HD not bought a DVD player in years. A very young associate stopped to check on me and was surprisingly knowledgeable about the products available. He made sure I had everything I needed such as surge protectors etc. He was a great source of info regarding each price level of item vs my need. I was really impressed with the level of Customer Service skills in such a young associate. He even took me to a register to ring me up so I did not have to deal with the longer lines at the front of the store. Then!!! When the Geek Squad came to set up my TV/ Fireplace stand the hooked up and connected my DVD Player and surge protectors for me!!!!

It's a compact dvd player that's easy to hook and does what it's supposed to do...play DVD's. If you don't own Blu-ray discs, this is the player for you, and at $34.99 you can't go wrong.

I wanted a simple DVD player and this one is great for the price. Easy setup, remote makes sense in the dark. My only "slight" issue is that it seems to take 30 seconds or so to load a disk.. it may be my home grown disks and not the player.

Like Sony products. Picture quality is excellent. Easy to set up, with a Samsung TV. Like the features on the DVD remote. Open & Close draw. Power on & off. Very Convent.

This is perfect for my grandson. He is autistic and watched a lot of videos. This works perfectly - it is easy to use and the quality of the picture is perfect.
