Good DVD player, great price

Plus, it has RC jacks which are getting harder to find. Took me a while to figure out the setup. The original price was good, but with the "open box" discount, the price was great.

I am a little disappointed at how loud it is when it's running. It has a grinding sound when it's first starting, but the sound of the tv drowns out the noise enough you don't notice it. It works for what I need it for!

Not what I was looking for

It does not and so it wasn't compatible with my smart TV. I had to return the item.

There are a few improvements in this new version - slightly smaller, enhanced remote functions, auto-OFF to save power - and we expect many years of service from this machine as well. Altogether, great value for the price.
