Since we own about 2,000 dvds and blu-rays, we need players. These Sony DVD players rest in 4 of our rooms. No need to put wear and tear on a blu-ray player when we watch so many regular dvds. The price is great for the quality.

Works as advertised easy to use and setup also remote control

We wanted to replace our old Dvd but did not want Blu Ray. We have old Dvds and rent often. We wanted a simple product. This Dvd player was priced very well and was easy set up. We were able to watch within seconds.

Delivery a little slow but very happy with reasonably-priced DVD player.

Bought this for my wife for a Christmas present over a year ago. She loves it and it works great! Small, but powerful. Plays only DVDs (of course) and serves her purposes very well! Highly recommended!

Nothing overly special but does the job just fine for not much money. If I had to do it over again I would spend $10 more and get the one with HDMI connection.

So I am fighting with the tech in my bedroom, so I can't get this to do what I wanted, exactly, but this is on me, but this is an excellent deal and worth getting.

it was easy to hook up and it is easy to use.. I make my own video's with my last dvd player, it was difficult to get them to play on my tv..with this dvd player they play with not problem

It was a prefect price for a svd player that i needed. Good value for the price. It came with a remote and easy to connect to the tv .

Decent price for a simple and easy to use product. Remote included. The only drawback is that the machine's reaction time to remote & buttons is a bit slow.

Needed a new DVD player. This one was well priced and slim lined as I needed it to be for the space I had.

Player works great, but getting it connected not so much. Directions were definately written by some one who has English as a second language.

This is the second one of these I have purchased, and the third Sony DVD Player overall. This is a solid, compact, basic dvd player. It serves our purposes and I have found Sony DVD players to be very reliable.

I would recomend this DVD player for its ease of use,good picture quality,and value. I bought this for my dad who has difficulty with electronic devices, and he seems to operate this with ease.

Needed to replace a JVC player I have had for over 8 years. This one fit the bill. Small size, remote, and easy to set up. The audio from this unit is actually better than the JVC unit. Oh, the price was good too.

As someone that prefers DVDs over Blu Ray discs, this is an ideal product. Slim, compact, lightweight design, HDMI outputs, easy to use remote control, and overall quality expected of a brand name like SONY.

This is a great DVD player. It has a slim design if you want to place it under a tv! Easy to use.

For $40 what do you want? This a is a basic player - no frills - but it will play any recorded discs you have, home or commercial. If you are used to the quality of 4K upload 1080 pixels to a smart TV screen then you will be disappointed in the picture quality but as a basic player its fine. DVDs are being phased out like audio tapes were - everything will be flash drive only or streamed in the not so distant future. Grab this while you can if you have a DVD library.
