This Sony DVD player is modestly priced and past experience is that I have to use Sony products with my old analogue Sony TV due to compatibility issues. One problem I have noted about the actual remote is that the battery cover doesn't stay on if you drop it. Also, I experienced a lot of trouble plugging it in as the plug itself does not have the usual size differentiation so its hard to find an outlet that will accept it. If Sony continues to produce this type of DVD player they should change the plug so that it conforms more easily with standard outlets.

I wanted a replacement for an old DVD player that quit on me. This one does the job well. No frills, nothing fancy, but the price was right, and it's working well (I've only had it a month).

This Sony DVD player is just what the doctor ordered. It was easy to hook up, simple to use, great features, good sound and picture. I would recommend it to anyone.

This DVD player is easy to setup and easy to use. Plays all of my dvds. I already have one of these and I liked it so much I bought a 2nd player for another room in my house

Such a small and cute DVD player! I have never set one up before and was scared. I prayed first, then just tried to figure out what to do from my old DVD player which was gigantic in comparison. Well everything plugged in really fine. Then I tried to use the remote. Nothing happened. Uh oh. (No intelligible instructions for it) I tried every button and voila!! A picture. My life is perfect!

This is a very affordable, basic DVD player. I just needed it to play DVD's (not blue rays) for educational purposes and it does just that. It hooked up easily to my TV.

This Sony DVD player is great. For $35.00 you get something that will last a long time. Picture quality is solid and connecting it was so simple! Highly recommend.

I replaced a very old one with this inexpensive version - - just needed a DVD player that works - - and this one does everything that it's supposed to do - - no issues - - would buy it again.

This DVD player does what it is designed to do well. It is basic, compact, reliable and affordable. Good for a second TV or kid's use.

It is a great basic VCR. I use it in my bedroom to view movies. It was easy to setup and to run through my TV. I like the picture quality and the ease of operation that it has. I would recommend it to anyone.

This little dvd player worked just fine when tried out. Came with wiring harness to attach to a TV, just had to plug it all in. Perfect for the application it was needed for.
