People who have tried to help this 82 Yr.s guy with it, say they had problems trying to get to work on certain non commercial DVD's.

Great for just playing DVDs

The best part for me was easy set up -- not a million screes to navagate through before it works. AND it turns on when the power goes on in the building and just auto plays. perfect!

Gave the old one to my daughter for her videos. Great no nonsence player. I still have dvd's that we love to play instead of searching through apps. Just me

You don’t even need the instructions to set it up.

Great DVD player for a tv

If you want to make your TV a smart TV with a DVD player this isn't the DVD player you want. This was for an 8 year old child for playing regular not blue ray dvd's. It operates great. It has a lot of the additional features as a timer, remote, volume control. I would definitely recommend this DVD player
