I love this DVD player is so slim and easy setup too!

Nice simple unit that adapts to the new smart tv's via hdmi. Basic install. Purchased another Sony model which was for older tv's with RCA cables that I had to return for this one. Double check the model you are buying if for newer tv's.

Great DVD player for the price and picture quality is very good.

We have used these DVD players at our TV facility for many years. They are in use for 12 hours everyday, turning on and off at our Satellite Station miles away at my command. We probably replace one of the four every year or so. Bare bones, perhaps, but they do the job.

I was looking for a replacement for the CD player I have and found this great buy at Best Buy. Sales associate was helpful and knowledgeable and the product was just what I was looking for, so I bought it.

Excellent DVD Player for the money. Also plays CD's. Great value. I purchased 2. I had trouble setting up the first one and still have to work on screen size but the second was on a smaller tv and installation was a breeze.

Sony Basic DVD player works well with old TV's and flat screens that do not have updated signal and software capabilities to work with new dvd/Blueray technology. Would recommend to people that are just changing over from VHS tapes and do not like new technology. Very simple to use.

Performs as advertised. Using just as cd player. No frills, no display showing tracks or time, but I knew this when I purchased this very inexpensive--yet a brand name(Sony)--unit. Excellent value for the money

Sony always. This DVD player is easy to use and gives you everything for watching programs that you cannot stream.

For my kids. They leave DVD players on and they are kids so it gets used rough. Most DVD players burn out fairly quick or start to make funny noises after being left on. So as of now seems to be handling the load well. Does as needed. Loads quick. Simple plug and play with little to no setup.

This was a good item for the price -- especially after I had it reduced to what was being charged at a competitor. Only downside is that, despite its claim of a "universal" remote, forget about it. You can't use it to control your TV also.
