Cheap but not really worth the savings

I did want a basic model, and it is just that. The sound seems to be quite fine in concert with my speakers and receiver. For that reason , and because I don't want to have to go shopping again, I'll keep using it. Problems: a) No screen to show which track you're on - I didn't check this before, so my error. b) It responds better to the remote than to the buttons on the instrument itself. But, the biggest problem is c) that it seems to need buttons pressed repeatedly before it will even turn on or off, or start to play. So I wouldn't recommend it unless you really wouldn't mind all those issues.

Nothing fancy, just a good inexpensive option for the anyone that doesn’t necessarily need anything fancy.

Well designed product at a good price

The output quality is good. My only complaint is that the fast forward function isn't very fast.

Great DVD player for a low tech grandma

This player is perfect as it is easy to use and reliable. It also syncs with her existing cable company remote. Would give it 5 stars, but it is only a DVDs player.

I understand that your DVP-SR210P is having issues turning off when not playing a disc. Please try turning off the DVD player, unplug it for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on again.

So far, product meets expectations.
