This was a Christmas present for a family member. They are very pleased with the player. Easy set up (even for them). When you shut of the player off with a disk in it, the player asks if you want to start up where you left off when you turn it back on. Nice feature.

This player was perfect for my den at such a low price.

Wife wanted new DVR because of previous day failure on older unit (that I was unaware of)- she uses for workout videos regularly. Quick fix was trip to BBuy, easy hookup at home, and workout started within 35 minutes of her request. Problem solved without spending big $$.

Bought this to connect to my Bose Wave Radio to replace the CD player portion of the BWR and for the price, it has worked out well rather than paying what Bose was going to charge to fix the CD player.

I needed an inexpensive player the kids could use without worry. It does the job nicely. It is easy to operate. It requires the old hookup system but that is fine for what I needed.

We needed a new DVD player for the kids play room. This is super basic and simple to operate. My 7 year old can do it by himself. Worth the money for the kids use.

I needed just a real good CD player and the BB sales person suggested this unit for that purpose. It sounds better than my $550+ CD player that died after 7 years of use. Excellent quality and sound

Great basic DVD player does the trick. As streaming becomes more and more prevalent, sure DVDs will go the way of the eight track (if you are a millennial, Google 8-track), VCR, and cassette tape. However, you will enjoy this DVD player until that happens.

Sony works fine (I usually buy Samung but none available). Remote is too small for us old people, very difficult to "read". The "rewind" is problematic, doesn't go from scene to scene but does go up to three times fast.

My first purchase was not correct for my particular setup, my mistake. Store manager cheerfully exchanged my unit for the proper product. Product works great. great picture. everythiing works better than expected

Nice dvd player. Only complaint its not hdmi. Comes with the old red, white, yellow cables.

Didn't want a blue ray player. Didn't want to spend a lot as we won't use it a all the time. This fit our needs perfectly. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a good, basic DVD player.
