Bought this a couple weeks ago to replace a previous old high-end Sony DVD player which suddenly stopped working. This one has fewer features than the previous one and no display, but it does what it needs to do, which is hook up with an old Sony Trinitron TV and play DVDs. That means composite red, white, yellow RCA cables. So far it has played the DVDs fine, but it is still in testing phase. Concerned about the very light weight, and wonder how it will stand up over time.

I love this DVD player! I tweaked the settings on my TV for the perfect light/color ratio and all my movies look beautiful on it! Its compatible with my 1080p TV and looks awesome! Easy to set up with my AV adapter too.

I was looking to replace my Sylvania dvd player, and the open box of the Sony was perfect. The description said it was a blu-ray/dvd player, but it is just a dvd player. But that's fine. It is compact enough to fit in the small space that the previous one was, and easy connection.

This DVD may be small and compact but it does a lot. My favorite feature is that the player will remember where you left off which saves time. You can even have it start at the beginning. It doesn't have a counter but you really don't need it. The DVD player was at a great cost and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love it, love it, love it! This is my 4th Sony DVD player . . . and yes, the prior three all are working beautifully. Purshased this one to use when traveling. A basic player that is easy to hook up, and wonderfully reliable. Did not need any more bells or whistles.
