Good DVD player; does what it's supposed to do. Setup is fairly intuitive, which is good because the setup instructions were almost worthless.

Very decent quality picture, cost-effective player. Most DVD's viewed are checked out from the library, so Blue-Ray isn't important to me. I purchased an HDMI cable allowing the player to upgrade the image (HD Upconversion) and that does appear to improve the picture on my TCL smart TV over what conventional RCA connectors convey. The remote does fine with the basics for the player, not sure yet if it will also coordinate to my particular TV but I have a Roku remote. The very basics of the player can be operated without the remote, during remote disappearing acts. If the player continues to hold up, it's a great value.

Easy to set up, light weight and small so it does not take up much space. I purchased the "open box" which saved me money and it looked brand new and in excellent condition. This is the third DVD player that we ordered from Best Buy and they are all exactly the same unit. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase. Shipping and receiving of the purchase was super fast and also was free. In todays market also nothing comes to you without a hefty shipping charge.

So, I ordered the new TV from Best Buy and then realized I needed cables and connections to integrate it with our older DVD and stereo. I thought I'd order from Amazon, and did, but when I checked the order the next day it said it was going to take a MONTH to receive the order. CANCEL! Went online to Best buy and picked up the cables and new DVD player, picked it up an hour later and was enjoying excellent surround sound and my DVD collection in no time. The DVD player was a great bargain, and easy to set up and use! Skip AMAZON, got to Best Buy and get your stuff right away!

The setup of this product was quite simple. Works great with the remote in hand. Quality of this product was great and the price was a lot less than I thought it would be.

It works well, easy to install. Very reasonable price. Allows me to watch DVDs without a problem.

The tv-compatible DVD player is excellent in that it provides a screen-filling picture with excellent quality, and came at a great low price. However, it responds to remote commands very slowly, and the indicator lights are very dim. Further, I've yet to find a way to reset the DVD to the beginning (the Menu command doesn't do it), and the player can hang up indefinitely on a particular disk, trying to get to the last-viewed moment.

It works perfectly. Cant ask for anything else out of at DVD player with HD Upconversion.

Until most recently, I had a combo VHS/DVD player which worked okay, but was not compatible with my new LG OLED TV I purchased from Best Buy. So, in looking at all the reviews, I decided to purchase this Sony DVD Player It is small, slim and is an excellent player and very compatible with my TV. It was also easy to hook up. I highly recommend this DVD player if you are in the market for a new one!
