If you're looking for a low-priced, great quality, easy-to-install, and simple-to-operate upconverting DVD player, this is the one for you. It took about 5 minutes to unpack, hook up to our TV, and figure out how to operate the remote. And the picture is almost Blu-ray quality too. I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who does not want to buy a more expensive Blu-ray player.

This DVD player is basic but high quality. The upscaling feature really makes a noticeable improvement when viewing movies from my collection of DVDs on my 1080p HDTV. The HDMI port allows an easy connection to one of the available HDMI ports on the HDTV. Very comprehensive remote control to access all of this player's features.

I was looking for an inexpensive dvd player to hook up to my Samsung UHD Crystal Smart TV - this totally fit the bill! it is easy to hook up with an HD digital cable - I bought the 4" $5.99 Best Buy Cable brand and it was fine. The picture is very good. The remote works fine. I am happy with my purchase. P.S., if you need RCA cables (colored ones), they come with the DVD player.

My original DVD player finally died on me. I wanted to upgrade to a blu-ray player, but money is especially tight so I settled on getting a basic DVD player instead. The Sony DVPSR510H DVD player has all the features I need at a great low price. Picture and sound quality is excellent, and the controls are easy to use. Plus, the player is very compact should you not have a lot of space. The remote control is smaller and more compact, with buttons closer together than I would prefer, but it is well laid out and not difficult to use.

It plugs into the back of a TV. Works well, color and sound are good.

I sought a simple DVD player which is slender enough to fit in the 1.5 inch vertical space between the base of the stand and the bottom of the TV and transmit good quality pictures. It does. The sound is good also.

I got this to use in my gazebo so I could watch my movie collection outdoors under the gazebo, which is a hardtop, so I am not concerned with rainwater leaking in and damaging the player. Even using my older DVDs, the up convert works great providing an excellent picture. The price was good. I'll be getting another for my house.

I purchased this DVD player to use for the courses I teach in school. Although I constantly transport it back and forth, it has never let me down. The pictures are clear and the sound audible. It is easy to hook up to a t,v, and I have had this machine now for almost a year. And the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this DVD player to anyone who is looking for a machine to play any old or store bought DVDs.
