This DVD player is great. You can stop it, power off, & pick up where you left off. A good value! AND - it has buttons on it if your remote craps out! Personally, I like the buttons! Many devices today depend on the remote. Take note manufacturers - we like a backup plan!

The design is simple and easy to use. It served the purpose for a great price. I only use it to play DVDs. I think it probably does more than plays DVDS but I have not tried any other features. My other player had an indicator that let me know how many minutes had passed and what time it was. This has neither, it is very simple but I am pleased with it.

I like this DVD player a lot. With the HDMI connection it was a snap to set up and start using immediately. I was looking for something cheap - I don't watch a lot of DVDs - and this fit the bill. It's really compact and light so I'm sure it would fit pretty much anywhere. The picture quality isn't great, but then again you can't really complain too much for under $50. It plays DVDs - that's what I bought it for. Highly recommend this unit if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

Works well a vary inexpensive player if all you want play dvd i put grandkids room my wife also has one linked right up to her remote on sony tv overall want cheap dvd player its great for price now your at 1080 if you have 4k tv you may want to get higher end but you get what you pay for the unit small which is great the only thing i dont like on button lights hard to see during the day

I bought this unit for my elderly mother who's old DVD player had finally broke down. This is a decent replacement for it is simple enough for her to understand how to use it without complicated menus and buttons to push. Good picture quality and decent price, no problems with the unit so far and it gets used a few times a week.

Bought this to replace my Toshiba DVD that JUST RECENTLY died after DECADES! I did not see any Toshiba DVD players, only LG, Panasonic, a couple other brands, and Sony. I went with Sony based on Brand Recognition and Reputation. So far so good. Player is quiet, nice picture and sound, and takes up very little space. I still have a lot of DVDs, hopefully this will last a good while.
