DVD player works great! Easy to work and remote control easy to read

Works perfectly with my wife's yoga and stretching videos. Excellent dollar value. If you don't need Blu-Ray performance for a given set up, this is the one.

Good DVD player, play DVDs and CDs, works well. Easy setup.

I needed a dvd player that would play dvd-r discs but did not want it to be big and heavy. This player is perfect for the storage area and use area I have. I have used it only once so far but it worked perfectly even though it was connected to an old tube television. great for the price for sure.

Typically, my first choice with a product of this type is Sony. I usually am not disappointed with a Sony purchase. However, these newer DVD players behave differently with respect to the newer varients of HD televisions than older DVD players and televisions. With the earlier technology one needed to adjust the television aspect ratio to the DVD that one wanted to view. I found with this DVD purchase, and with this DVD player connected to a HD television the DVD player settings needed to be adjusted to the television that the DVD player was feeding. I found this a little frustrating at first until I understand what was going one betwixt the two components. Overall, and to summarize, the picture quality is very good, but not quite as good as the older DVD players, however I am still experimenting with DVD and television settings; this player may not be a "plug and play" that one would expect. I speculate that most DVD players purchased now will probably behave similarly.

This is a very basic DVD player, but it works well if you only expect basic performance. Its upconversion feature works well and it attaches to your TV via HDMI. The downside is that the remote works but the unit is slow to respond---there is a few second delay between command and the unit responding. Otherwise, it's quite good for the money and it's compact in size.

Bought a new TV wanted to get a DVD player that hooked up with HDMI so we bought one. Took at home it was very easy to hook up. Did it on my own was pretty happy with the whole process. Very satisfied with the sales Person customer service was excellent Thank you very much.

Sony cd player easy to use witg the remote and works great. The geek squad service hooking this into my curent home theater system also did a great job.

Easy to set up. Works fine. Doesn't take up much space. I wish it displayed how long the disc has been playing like my previous DVD player did, but it doesn't. Good value for the price.

I stream most video these days and didn't want to spend the money for a blu-ray player. My DVD collection is old and I wanted a player to connect via HDMI. The display is great and the player has simple controls (maybe a little too simple; thus the 4 out of 5). The price makes this a good value for my requirements.

Great little DVD .... i got it to make it easier to play some old exercise DVDs from a bygone era. The low profile and slide-out drawer made it easy to position under my new Sony TV. The upscaling is worth the extra $5.... nothing not to like. And it's Sony.

Easy to use. Had another like it. Good quality. Having you not accept what i initially wrote is bothersome. I dont care for this type of service. Your begging for further good review so now ill go back and reduce the quality of service by survey . Survey was poorest i ever experienced. Took to much time so i will never do another.

The DVD player works well, no problems. Haven't had one for years and enjoy seeing movies with grandkids.

Very good basic unit with many direct hook ups including HDMI and video auto upconversion-The HDMI port was the main reason I bought this to hook to a new TV and replace an old analog unit I couldn't find a cost effective way to use anymore... adapters etc added up to more than this unit cost...Good price too for an open box model @34!!!
