I have owned this DVD player for less than 1 month, but so far it works perfectly. It was very easy to set up & use. I wanted to use it on an older TV & it did come with the yellow, white, red video & audio cables. It can be connected via an HDMI port also (cable not included)

his was an open box item, did not notice it didn't have a remote, luckly the old dvd player was the same brand. because it was open box i got it cheap. picture is a lot better than old one, this runs hdmi the old one was 5prong.

First of all, my dvd player couldn't "read" some of my newer dvds. So I went online to see if I could find out why. The first thing that came up with my problem was the age of my dvd. Ok, I knew pretty much how old mine was. The average player's life is about 5 years! I calculated and mine turned out to be 15-17 YEARS OLD!! Yikes!! Well, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out!! I went right away and ordered the same exact player as my "old timer", seeing the poor thing didn't owe me anything. I got it in 3 days! Set it up and all of my dvds work like new. I swear the picture is clearer and the sound better!! I couldn't believe it. I am one happy camper!

I need something simple since I am now widowed. but not to too small that is hard to handle. i also wanted something compact. i am down-sizing and compact is what i was looking for. very affordable. easy to use and not cheaply made. would buy and recommend. the remote is easy to see and use

I purchased this DVD Player to replace a very old one that suddenly died. Small, compact, relatively inexpensive and excellent picture quality. The Player came with an A/V cable, so I purchased this player with a separate HDMI cable to connect to an old Sony TV. Excellent quality, crystal-clear picture.

Needed a simple, reliable DVD player to attatch to an inherited tv that now resides in the kid's playroom. Something that was simple to use, had a remote without a thousand buttons, and could sustain a potential beating (kids do the strangest things...). This DVD player has been able to accomplish all thise things.

Our old DVD player started giving us trouble & would play a lot of DVD's all of a sudden, so we ordered this DVD player from Best Buy for curbside pick up. We had rewards points to use from some large appliance purchases. We got it home & it would not play DVD's. At all. Weird. So, we took it back & exchanged it for another of the same & so far it seems to be working. I guess it's ok, I just can't help but feel nervous that it may quit at anytime since the first one was a lemon? It's nice & small, so it takes up much less space than the huge 20 year old Sony we bought this to replace. It was pretty inexpensive as well.

When my old DVD player died, I looked to replace it with another.. Just something simple to play DVDs. Requirements: it must be at least modern enough to use an HDMI cable, small, and inexpensive. This one fit the bill and seems to work just fine.

It’s a dvd player. Plays dvds and does a good job of upscaling. Bought this for my RV and it works well in that capacity. Small and light. Which is good for an RV.

This Sony DVD player is excellent and the third one I own. I like it because it will play the DVD on the TV plus it will also play;music CD when connected to my Sony receiver. I highly recommend this product

Wanted something simple to operate with good performance. This is what I got. I had a fancy (expensive) CD /DVD player that would do everything but cook breakfast. But, more complicated than needed. This one just simply does what it is supposed to, work well and sound good. The price is a bargain.

For anyone who wants to play DVD's or CD's, this is an inexpensive device that is so simple to hookup and works great. I bought an additional HDMI cable. The DVD's I've tried look great.

This is the perfect dvd player for movie night with the grandkids! Our old one got a cd jammed inside and was inoperable. This was a good quality player at a good price! No complaints and highly recommend!

I connected the dvd player to my Roku tv via an hdmi cable and then connected the power cord. When I turned on the tv, it immediately recognized the dvd player and created a channel for it. I can access the dvd player by turning it on and then choosing the channel for it, just like I would for Netflix, etc. i use the dvd player remote controller for playing the dvd, turning the dvd player on and off, and so forth. Very pleased with how easy this was to connect and use.
