This DVD player is great for the casual movie watcher. It gives the option for regular A/V connections and HDMI which is helpful. It is small and sleek and fits under a tv with ease. This was a great purchase.

Needed a new DVD player & bought this one based on a recommendation from a Best Buy in-home advisor. It is compact, sleek & makes a perfect addition to my audio/video setup.

Nice compact design. Works great. Needed to replace an older Sony with a newer DVD player that would hook up to a new TV and multi channel receiver. this fit the bill and also saves on space.

We bought this DVD player because we lost the remote to our old DVD player. With the sale price, it didn't cost much more than the replacement remote. It is simpler to operate than the old one. The Picture quality is supposed to be better, but we can't really tell a difference.

The picture quality is very good and it was very easy to setup. I can see the upscale from playing an old dvd with the new machine versus my old DVD player.

Great small DVD player for the price. I like that it has the "upconversion" feature to help with old DVDs. Set up was easy and worked fine right out of the box, and I'm no techie.

The quality is typical of Sony and the price was excellent. However, I thought I could connect it to my computer and this was not possible.

Was looking for a simple DVD player which would play DVDs/Blue Ray. The Sony was only $10 more than the lower priced player. The Sony upconversion really does enhance the viewing quality of older movies. Great value for a fantastic price!

Nice compact DVD player. Fits nicely on my entertainment center. Replaced an older larger VCR/DVD player. Works great. Will be purchasing another one for the TV in my family room in the basement.
