I've had this DVD player for a month and I'm very happy with it. It is small, VERY quiet, and works great! I have a Toshiba tv and was able to program it to the DVD player remote just by entering a code included with the instructions.

Super easy to use and set-up. Best part is that we turned off and when we turned back on it asked if we wanted to resume where we left off.

Bought this as a replacement as our previous DVD Player no longer works. This DVD player was easy to set up and easy to use.

This DVD player performs as advertised. Easy to install and functions well. Can be installed on older TVs with standard video cables (included) or on HD TVs with a HDMI cable (included). I have found that this unit will also play double layer DVDs.

Sony is still top DVD players, technology, features, ease of operation, etc. Love my DVD player, does everything it is supposed to do. Best Buy gave me a great price at that. Can't go wrong with this mid range model.

This was easy to connect to my new TV and easy to operate once I got it connected. The picture quality is good and the sound was movie quality. A good product for the everyday not so savvy watcher.

I'm impressed...it was easy to hook up. Has a wonderful picture quality. And the best part...a remote that is big enough to read the buttons!!! I'm extremely happy with this purchase!!!

Really like the picture quality, features, really everything about it. Also very small and lightweight to ease the space and weight restrictions on component cabinets. Really love it!

Has 1080 HDMI. Picture seems much better that DVD quality. HDMI only.

Was looking for a player at low price and had HD features. Name brand quality and price won me over. Not technically inclined but installation was a breeze. Operates without complications.

The Sony DVD is a very versatile player that can play both DVDs and CDS. It was very easy to hook up and Best Buy as usual offered very good customer service and important information.

A very good little unit, however the buttons are thin and not very sturdy. This unit connected right up and was ready to go right out of the box. Unfortunately there is not a display on the unit itself.

I bought this dvd player as an extra to hook to a tv in a spare room to watch some tutorial dvd's. I chose an inexpensive model as I did not need any bells and whistles. I am very satisfied with the player and the features. It doesn't really load my dvd's fast but that's minor. The picture quality is great, I can play in slow motion and it has a cool stopping feature - click stop once and then when I come back the dvd resumes from the same spot or click stop twice and when I come back the dvd would begin at the beginning. I am happy with this purchase.

After doing some rudimentary research on 4K BluRay players, I settled on this Sony since it would complement my Sony 4K TV and the price was very reasonable. It's been great so far - even standard BluRay movies look fantastic (not sure if the disc player or the TV is doing the upconverting tho). The TV apps built in work fine, but are redundant, since they're all built into the TV as well. Can you even buy a non-smart TV anymore? All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. The unit looks good, is easy to use and is substatially heavy - always a plus with home audio/video gear.
