killed our old machine to get a disk out this one hooked up fast and easy plays well

easy to set up and use although i did have to return for additional cable not included although included in the setup instructions

Great DVD player for the price. No issues at all and plays the DVD where you stopped it even when you turn off the player and the tv which is a nice feature.

If you're looking for a Quality Brand Name .... Simple (non-blu-ray) DVD Player for a Economy Price..... That will play most Discs you throw in it .... from movies to self-recorded Dvd's .... This will fit the bill quite nicely!

I got this basic DVD player for my son and he loves it's reliable and it plays all formats of his DVDs. Is very inexpensive and easy to use and set up.

Looking for a small component player that had HDMI out so that it could connect to our new TV. Many of the newer TV's don't have analog inputs anymore, so needed one with this capability. I can't comment on the "upscaling" ability vs other players, but can say that I"m happy with the picture this produces on the TV coming from DVD's that are 20+ years old. It's small, sleek frame takes up about the same footprint as the cable box, so it stacks up nicely. Very happy with this purchase and would buy again if needed to.

This DVD player has both composite video and hdmi video outputs to be able to connect to both CRT and HDTV TVs. Good product and features for the price.
