Although I miss having a front panel digital display to show track number & time elapsed, this unit is small enough and very affordable plus it produces a good DVD picture, so I can forgo that 'luxury'. Easy to use remote and set-up.

I purchased this awhile ago and it is still going strong. I like the size of this DVD player and ease of use. My family and I still like watching movies on DvD. This will do the job and the cost was very fair. The remote is straight forward and easy to navigate. I like this better than my so call smart tv.

This has a great picture....its super easy setup ( i used the HDMI cord that you have to buy seperately but is much better and easier to set up) and super easy to use...along with a great price! What more can you ask for. I got the open box and added a 4 year warranty.

Works great. Easy set up. Remote is a plus. Happy to have this device to enjoy my dvds.

Easy to connect, good quality picture , sleek design

This is a nice little DVD player. Great to have the HDMI plug-in. The ease of use and quality of sound and picture are really very good. Had an older player that only had R,W & Y plugs on it and wasn't compatible with my Marantz 5.1 receiver/amp. The folks at BestBuy helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

My old dvd/vcr combo died on me but I really don't watch enough dvd's to justify an expensive replacement. I was looking to find one that was easy to set up and not take up a lot of space and this was the answer. It only requires an HDMI cord to connect to my smart tv and has so far worked nicely. Nice compact design and easy to use.

I just wanted an affordable DVD player that can hook up HDMI. This DVD player was both affordable and delivers better resolution picture due to HDMI capability (better than the blue/green/red cables that also come in the box). Plus, I confess, I have a bias for SONY products - they have a loooooooong shelf life and have never disappointed me.

Baught this player as a necessary bridge until the new better technology replaces the DVD technology I was never a big fan of. An affordable player, Easy to set up, great picture, great price. The control light is placed at the bottom and is hidden from view. It would be nice to have a clock and timer display. I would recommend it to a friend.

Provides desirable features for a DVD player. Easy to use remote. Connected an HDMI cable (which I supplied) between the DVD player and LG TV, plugged it in, and it worked first time.

This player was just what we needed, although this player may not be the latest high resolution technology, and takes a few seconds to load. We needed a DVD player that would connect to a new smart 4k TV with an HDMI connection, as well as connect with a second older TV with RCA jacks. This player has both HDMI and RCA connectors to give us flexibility. Everything worked fine from the original connection out of the box. Although we did nothing special, the sound plays out of our sound bar too (which I believe is due to the smart Sony TV). The store had 5 in stock for immediate pick-up. We have only had the player for two weeks, and played about 12 hours of use, so cannot judge longevity yet. The price was low, it was in stock, the clerk assured us it would work with our TVs, the machine works, and it does not skip or stall. It does what we needed, so we give it 5 stars. Our one experience is we had to move the player to the front of the wooden shelf case to receive the remote signals better (remote needs clear line of sight). I recommend this DVD player to a friend.

Easy plug and play setup and works well with added capabilities for slow motion and on-screen changes.

We purchased this for a home office, it's small enough to fit the space I had allocated for it and it works great, nice picture and easy to set up with a monitor for viewing.

easy to use, plays CDs and DVDs. Picture and sound are clearer than on my previous DVD player. My only complaint is there is no light to tell you when it is on but easy to figure out by looking for HDMI2 setting on TV. Highly recommend if you don't need lots of bells and whistles like bluetooth.

I purchased this DVD Player to replace a very old one that suddenly died. Small, compact, relatively inexpensive and excellent picture quality. The Player came with an A/V cable, so I purchased this player with a separate HDMI cable to connect to an old Sony TV. Excellent quality, crystal-clear picture.

Simple. You cannot beat it for the price. Already comes with A/V cables and will work on TVs with RCA inputs as well as on HDTV flat screens, but you will have to get your HDMI cable. Has up convert, awesome remote even with remote eject. Awesome and simple and easy to use. I got it. And I would get it again. And again.

I love this DVD player! Great quality beautiful picture with movies. And I love listening to my CDs as well. No problems at all it's a great value for the money.

We all have a bunch of DVDs collected over the years before streaming was available. This low priced player makes it easy to enjoy those gems from your library any time you want. The upscale feature even makes the picture sharp and clean so it even looks good on a 4K set. You simply plug it into an outlet and connect a HDMI cable to your tv and you are in business. Even surround movies can bring on the realism. It also has RCA connections if you are old school. Sorry, it is not Blue ray but……..

This DVD player is so simple and compact. It is easy to bring to hotels even. Plays great and remote has lots of features.
