I bought this DVD player for my spare bedroom that my grandkids use when they come over. I keep most of my DVD in that room and my Blu Rays for my family room. It works out great for me and I love the Sony unit anyways, Sony is all I have in my family room. It gives a great pictures and now I can get the grandkids to bed sooner. I call that a win - win situation !

I just needed a basic DVD player to attach to a TV and this does the job. A little slow in loading the DVD and you have to push the menu button on the remote, instead of this appearing automatically. Could definitely get a superior model if you use the player a lot.

I purchased this DVD player because I needed for a class I teach at my university. It worked perfectly. It hooked up to the smart board in the room easily and instantly was ready to play any DVD that was inserted. It's also supper light. In fact, it's much lighter than any one book that I bring to class. You can't beat it, especially for the price!

Purchased this for my grandfather who loves to watch his old school Boston bruins/ hockey fights. His old dvd player from Sony lasted 15 years . He wanted something very simple and easy to use. All I can say he loves it!!!

Good quality picture. Price was right. I was very disappointed in the insructions. There isn't even a diagram of the remote to explain the function of each of the buttons. No tech help, or even a phone number. I believe there is some help on youtube.

I like it. It was just what I needed when I needed it.

Works flawlessly. Has played all of my non Blue Ray discs without any problems. Does a great job of upconverting regular DVDs. No internet connectivity is a plus as it won't "brick" itself after dubious "updates". Excellent dependable, reasonably priced product from a quality manufacturer.I have put one aside for the future as this simple style of player seems destined for obsolescence.

This is a good DVD player and small so do not take up a lot of space, the only thing is that I could use it on one TV but not on the other it did not bring the cable need it for some smart TV.
