Perfect simple DVD player. Got it for my in-laws because they stay using old-school media and won't adapt to anything new. So this was just what they needed.

Sony quality is always top-notch. This DVD player with HD upscale conversion works like a charm! This superb product is truly "plug-&-play." Set-up is so easy it's amazing. Plays DVDs and music CDs equally well. This HDMI device can also work with old RCA cable devices. I bought this one even though my "old" Sony DVD player was still working great after three years because I needed the new, improved features of this right-up-to-date model. You absolutely cannot possibly go wrong by buying this Sony DVD player. It's even "smarter" than my previous one from them.

Excellent DVD player I got for my exercise room. I purchased an open box one listed as "excellent." Under $30 bucks. Plays new and old CDs great. I tried some movies too. Same positive results. Super good sound and picture clarity. So glad I purchased this!

Even though we use streaming services a lot we had our family video transfered to DVD and can watch those and the movies that we have purchased. Great picture quality.

It's been years since we've purchased a DVD player and we are amazed at the price drop. And the size too. This player works perfectly. We choose to buy our electronics from Best Buy (as opposed to Costco or web vendors) because of the help staff provides.

This DVD player was purchased to replace a built-in player that failed, and I am very pleased with it. This player is intuitive, easy to use, and has worked flawlessly since day one. It was also easy to connect. The HD Upconversion will come in handy when I finally upgrade the TV monitor. I am so glad that DVD players are still being made -- there are many people like me who have large collections of DVDs!

Primary use is for playing music cds and dvds. Great little unit, and received it within 3 days. It performs nicely and a great price too !

Finally got the opportunity to use the Sony-DVD Player with HD Upconversion recently. The movie viewed was visually just as good as my Sony Blu-ray DVD. Set up was extremely easy and price was affordable. Also this unit is extremely lightweight.

Easy to use DVD player. Produces excellent picture an sound. Well-made, high quality and compact. Difficult to see on/off light unless you're very close. Recommended.

This wasn't the cheapest one available, but at the mid-low price range provides all that I need to easily view DVD's on an HD television. Easy to set up. Perhaps the only really minor issue is that you have to be really close to it to see if it's on because the on light is very small and on top.

Great price, value and quality!! Upconverts all my old DVD's and makes 'em look even better than before. What more could you ask for?
