Yes, it is a little on the large size, but it is still better than carrying a bag full of lenses. Works well with my Sony A6000 and takes great pictures in bright light and darker environments. Only wish is that it could stay at the same zoom when you turn off/turn on the camera. Great addition to my collection.

I bought this lens to use for my a6500. It feels & looks great on it. This is the perfect run & gun lens. Gives you a nice wide few & great range. The fact that the lens doesn’t extend is awesome. The zoom & focus rings turn like butter. Manuel zoom is also really nice. My only issues with this lens is it isn’t ask sharp as a Zeiss & you’ll get some distortion when in zoom or wide even with Lightroom compensation. Other than that it’s a great lens

Not the sharpest or fastest lens for Sony E-mount, but a well built and capable lens. Autofocus is reasonably quick and accurate, OSS provides good stabilization. This is a well built and sturdy lens. It doesn't have the reach of the 18-135 that comes with the a6500, but I prefer it for the overall quality. If you have the money to buy the body only AND this lens, do it. You'll have a very capable beginning camera kit.

Overall really satisfied with the lens. The power zoom is my favorite feature allowing me to have a clean look and easy to use zoom with 1080p footage. Great for outdoor shooting and wide shots. Highly recommend this buy for those who shoot both video and photography on the Sony A6000.

Nice and sharp. Not the best at 105 but the constant f4 is solid.

I recently purchased the Sony A6000 mirrorless camera that came with 2 lenses, 16 - 50 mm, and 55 - 210 mm. It was cumbersome to change the lenses while shooting photos on our recent vacation. I love the range of this new lens which allows me to shoot a variety of shots without changing lenses. It is much more convenient and the quality is much better!

IMO this is the most versatile lens in the apsc lens world. I use the G-master 24-70mm on my A Camera and this lens combined with a Sony ZV-E10 pairs perfectly as a B Camera setup.

It’s a very good lens if you’re looking to get wide and close up shots! It’s very great in great lighting situations but for night photography it’s not great at all. Overall, it’s has great built quality and the quality of photos this lens creates is phenomenal.

I would highly recommend getting this as your first aps-c lens for your Sony camera. I use this on my a6500 and it works great for both video and photogrpahy because of its oss, constant f4, and very usable focal range. It is a bit on the pricy side, but I think it's the best value in terms of the aps-c lenses that Sony has to offer.

Amazing quality. I’m a beginner videographer and this lens was definitely a perfect upgrade. It has a overall all in one 18mm for decent up close and zoom in is incredible clear. One negative thing would be is it does not focus when it’s up close. Overall perfect lens that does all!

This is my first time with a Sony camera and lens. I have been enjoying the lens so far and have enjoyed the photos I am getting from it. Haven't tried it in low light situations yet so can't give much feedback on that. Overall, well constructed and would recommend if you are just starting out on a Sony camera.

Love this lens! My go to lens. I use it more than any other. So glad I purchased it! Excellent quality in build and performance!

This lens doesn't go in and out like a manual lens so it makes it great for a gimbal. The center of weight never changes while zooming in or out. It can be controlled by many cameras and has a zoom button on the lens.

Love it! Love the quiet zoom for for videos. Great color and clarity as well.

Using as my walk around lens for events where I need a combination of stills and video clips. Great resolution and bokeh for stills. Smooth zooming (whether you use power button or manual) for video. If you have an event where you need video clips and stills, then this is the lens for you. Weight is OK for hand held use.

We purchased this lens to use in our studio productions of youtube videos. We used to have to stop and replace our standard kits lens with a Sony 200mm lens. This interruption was an annoyance. Now we can zoom in and out without needing to replace the lens. This is a great item to add to your Sony.
